The roots of the Muslim Brotherhood and, in many ways, the Nazi-Muslim axis go back to the organisation’s formation in Egypt in 1928. Marking the start of modern political “Islamic fundamentalism,” the Brotherhood from the outset envisioned a time when an Islamic state would prevail in Egypt and other Arab countries. The growth of the Muslim Brotherhood coincided with the rise of fascist movements in Europe – a parallel noted by Muhammad Sa’id al-‘Ashmawy, former chief justice of Egypt’s High Criminal Court, who decried “the perversion of Islam” and “the fascistic ideology” that infuses the world view of the Brothers.

 

Youssef Nada, current board chairman of Al Taqwa, had joined the armed branch of the Muslim Brotherhood as a young man in Egypt during World War II. Nada and several of his cohorts in the Sunni Muslim fraternity were recruited by German military intelligence. Hassan al-Banna, the Egyptian schoolteacher who founded the Muslim Brotherhood, also collaborated with spies of the Third Reich.

 

Advocating a pan-Islamic insurgency in British-controlled Palestine, the Brotherhood proclaimed their support for the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al-Husseini, in the late 1930s. The Grand Mufti, the preeminent religious figure among Palestinian Muslims, was the most notable Arab leader to seek an alliance with Nazi Germany.

 

Although he loathed Arabs (he once described them as “lacquered half-apes who ought to be whipped”), Hitler understood that he and the Mufti shared the same rivals – the British, the Jews and the Communists. They met in Berlin, where the Mufti lived in exile during the war. The Mufti agreed to help organise a special Muslim division of the Waffen SS. Powerful radio transmitters were put at the Mufti’s disposal so that his pro-Axis propaganda could be heard throughout the Arab world.

We do not know whether Hitler is going to found a new Islam. He is already on the way; he is like Muhammad. The emotion in Germany is Islamic; warlike and Islamic. They are all drunk with wild god. That can be the historic future. 

Albert Speer, who was Hitler’s Minister of Armaments and War Production, wrote a contrite memoir of his World War II experiences while serving a 20-year prison sentence imposed by the Nuremberg tribunal. Speer’s narrative includes this discussion, which captures Hitler’s racist views of Arabs on the one hand, and his effusive praise for Islam on the other:

 

Hitler had been much impressed by a scrap of history he had learned from a delegation of distinguished Arabs. When the Mohammedans attempted to penetrate beyond France into Central Europe during the eighth century, his visitors had told him, they had been driven back at the Battle of Tours. Had the Arabs won this battle, the world would be Mohammedan today. For theirs was a religion that believed in spreading the faith by the sword and subjugating all nations to that faith. Such a creed was perfectly suited to the Germanic temperament. Hitler said that the conquering Arabs, because of their racial inferiority, would in the long run have been unable to contend with the harsher climate and conditions of the country. They could not have kept down the more vigorous natives, so that ultimately not Arabs but Islamized Germans could have stood at the head of this Mohammedan Empire. Hitler usually concluded this historical speculation by remarking, “You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn’t we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?”

Nazi Hatred Dwells in the Arab World

…Although the Allies killed Nazi troops, destroyed their buildings, burned Nazi books, and even the fact that German Fuehrer killed himself, the Nazi spirit lived on. This spirit of Jew hatred was brought into the Arab world by Amin Al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.

 

The relationship between Amin Al-Husseini and the Third Reich was strengthened when the Mufti visited the German Consul General at Jerusalem in 1937. After that, he met with Eichmann when he visited Palestine. This was when the Nazis were examining the possibility of deporting German Jews to Palestine. It has been reported that based on war-crimes testimony and the Eichmann trial transcripts, Eichmann and the Mufti enjoyed a close relationship. The Mufti would soon become the spiritual leader of the Islamic legions that were trained by-and-for the Nazis.

 

The rise of Hitler to power in 1933 marked a turning point in the new mufti?s activities. He sent a cable of congratulations to the Nazi leader and expressed support for the Jewish boycott in Germany. Soon after Hitler’s Mein Kampf was translated into four different Arabic translations and circulated between 1933-1939 in Beirut, Baghdad, Cairo and Berlin. In the first few months of WWII, shops in the towns of Syria would frequently show posters with Arabic sayings: “In heaven God is your ruler, on earth Hitler.” In the streets of Aleppo, Homs and Damascus a popular verse in a local dialect said: “No more ‘Monsieur’, no more ‘Mister’-God in heaven, on earth Hitler!”

 

Anti-Jewish feeling continued to mount in the Middle East during the 1930s, as the Fascist and Nazi regimes and doctrines made increasing sense to many Arab nationalists. King Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia sought German arms and contacts and was favorably received. Various delegations of Syrians and Iraqis attended the Nrnberg party congresses, and there were several different Arabic translations of Mein Kampf. Both the German and Italian regimes were active in propaganda in the Arab world, and there was much pro-German sentiment in Egypt.

 

Anti-Semitic elements seized upon the Palestine problem and Arab Revolt of
1936-1939 to portray international Jewry, including the Jews of the Maghrib, in a negative way to the Muslims, many of whom expressed solidarity with the Palestinian Arabs against Zionism and the British Authorities in the Mandate. Nazi propaganda broadcasts from Berlin and Stuttgart, as well as broadcasts from fascist Italy, added fuel to the ongoing anti-Jewish campaigns.

 

As part of the new, tough policy against Arab violence, the British dismissed Al-Husseini from his post as head of the Supreme Moslem Council. Fearing arrest, on October 12, 1937, the grand mufti donned disguise and fled to Lebanon, where the French gave him asylum. During 1937, Damascus was center for anti-Jewish activities. During this same year, a Nazi delegation went to Syria where a symbiosis was developed that would lead to intensified anti-Jewish sentiment, especially among both German and Arab youth.

 

Nazi Germany started transmitting in Arabic for the first time in April 1938. Germany thus became an Italian radio surrogate, providing a new programming dimension by the addition of anti-Jewish and anti-British themes broadcast by several prominent Arab exiles, including Rashid Ali El-Ghailani, an ex-prime minister of Iraq, and the Mufti, Al-Husseini.

 

The Mufti developed a world headquarters in Germany. In an office in Berlin, his activities included: 1. radio propaganda; 2. espionage and fifth column activities in the Middle East; 3. organizing Muslims into military units in Axis-occupied countries and in North Africa and Russia; and 4. establishment of the Arab Legions and the Arab Brigade. These groups were trained by the Nazis and used by them. The Mufti’s radio broadcasts were some of the most violent pro-Axis broadcasts ever produced. He had at least six stations, Berlin, Zeissen, Bari, Rome, Tokyo and Athens. He used these radio broadcasts to tell Muslims across the world to commit acts of sabotage and kill the Jews.

 

Hitler had made it clear that the project of killing Jews was by no means confined to Europe. As he explained to the Mufti, “his hopes of military victory in Africa and the Middle East would bring about the destruction of Jews in the Arab World.” In November of 1941 Hitler informed the Mufti at a meeting in Berlin that he intended to kill every Jew living in the Arab world, including those in Palestine as well as “Syria, Iraq, Iran, the Arabian peninsula, Egypt, and French Northwest Africa.” Hitler asserted that, in the event of a German advance into the Middle East, the German objective would be the “destruction” of “Judaism” in Palestine.

 

During 1941, in Mosul, Iraq, pro-Nazi Arab activists continued to propagandize against Jews. In Baghdad, when the war film For Freedom showed in cinemas, audiences cheered Hitler and booed Churchill. Leaflets circulated: “Rashid Ali, the Leader of all the Arabs, is returning with ropes and gallows to hang a number of criminal Jews, Christian traitors and other enemies of Islam.”

 

October 5, 1943, the Mufti arrived in Frankfort, Germany visiting the Research Institute on the Jewish Problem where he declared that Arabs and Germans were, “Partners and allies in the battle against world Jewry.” The Mufti beamed radio sermons to the Balkans, the countries of North Africa, and the Muslims in India. Arabs in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq and Egypt were called upon for Jihad against the British, these statements included the suggestion Muslims could “save their souls by massacring the Jewish infidels” they came across.

 

In a letter to Himmler, dated September 28, 1944, General Berger of the Waffen S.S. reported: “Today the Mufti came to see me for a long talk. He talked about his work and noted happily that the day is nearing he will head an army to conquer Palestine.” It was during this same year that the Mufti developed an Arab Brigade in 1944 that included Arabs trained in Holland by the Germans.

 

It was said the Mufti even visited Auschwitz and Maldanek. In both of these death camps, he paid close attention to the efficiency of the crematorium, spoke to the leading personnel and was generous in his praise for those who were reported as particularly conscientious in their work. He was on friendly terms with such notorious practitioners of the “Final Solution” as Rudolf Hess, the overlord of Auschwitz; Franz Zeireis of Mauthausen; Dr. Seidl of Theresienstadt; and Kramer, the butcher of Belsen.

 

After VE Day, May 8, 1945, Nazi officials were prepared to allow Jews to be diverted from concentration camps and even let children go to Palestine via “illegal” ships — all in exchange for cash. Yet, Al-Husseini insisted they get dispatched to concentration camps. That same year, liberated Yugoslavia sought to indict the Mufti as a war criminal for his activities in Bosnia, but with help from the Nazi SS, the Mufti had already escaped Germany with other members of his clan.”

 

While it is easy to reinvent history, it is not easy to overlook original first hand documents, tens of thousands which show the Mufti of Jerusalem in bed with Hitler. As Dr. Bernard Lewis of Princeton University recently said, “The Nazi propaganda impact was immense. We see it in Arabic memoirs of the period….”

 

The fierce anti-Jewish hatred that was exacerbated by the Mufti in the Islamic world, fueled by the German war machine, continues to resonate today throughout the Arab and Persian world. Incitement, instituted decades earlier, remains a root cause of anti-Semitism as well as the reason for hostility toward the State of Israel after its formation. This is the reason why over 900,000 Jewish people, born in Arab counries, were made refugees after 1948. Simply, because while the Nazis were destroyed and the Holocaust ended, the intense hostility instituted during that era lived on — and continues to live on in the Islamic world.

Newly independent Iraq gave formal undertakings on minority rights when joining the League of Nations in 1932 – and massacred thousands of Assyrian Christians within the year. Xenophobic nationalism, together with anti-British and anti-French feeling, gave rise to political parties and paramilitary youth movements of the Nazi and fascist type. The German envoy to Iraq, Dr Fritz Grobba, set about disseminating Nazi ideology and anti-Jewish propaganda, reinforcing local prejudice. Dozens of Jews were quietly dismissed (although some were reinstated after the community protested). Laws were gradually brought in to deprive Jews of jobs, then education and, eventually, property, residence and free movement. The Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al-Husseini, colluded with the ex-Prime Minister, Rashid Ali, to engineer a pro-Nazi coup, eventually culminating in the farhoud massacre of 1941. For two days and one night of looting, rape and murder, the mob rampaged through Jewish districts of Baghdad. One hundred and seventy Jews were killed.

 

Naturally, the Palestine question was also to have serious repercussions on the Jewish population. Menahem Salih Daniel, a Baghdad Jewish leader, expressed his misgivings as early as 1922 in a letter to the Secretary of the Zionist Organisation in London (quoted by Nessim Rejwan), even though there had as yet been no active resistance to Zionism:

 

It is . . . the feeling of every Arab that it is a violation of his legitimate rights, which it is his duty to denounce and fight to the best of his ability. Iraq always having been an active centre of Arab culture and activity, the public mind is always stirred up as regards Palestine.

 

One Jewess, growing up in the 1930s, recalls how the mob would rampage every anniversary of the Balfour declaration carrying clubs dipped in tar. It fell to a kindly neighbour to shelter her until the mob had passed.

 

In the 1941 farhoud too, when the forces of law and order failed to come to the Jews’ rescue, the last line of defence was again the kindly neighbour. As Nessim Rejwan writes,

 

Throughout the disturbances, with a few exceptions, Jewish homes in mixed neighbourhoods were defended and hundreds of Jews were saved by the willingness of their Muslim neighbours to protect them, in some cases at the cost of their own lives.

 

The broader picture

 

For the Jews, the 1930s and 1940s were a time of turmoil across the Arab world. Seven years before the farhoud, Jews had been killed in the pogrom of Constantine, Algeria. In Libya, 136 Jews, 36 of them children, were slaughtered in 1945. That same year, bloody riots erupted in Egypt and Aden, as in Syria in 1947.

 

All these events, targeting civilian communities, predated the creation of Israel. They demonstrated the vulnerability and insecurity to which Jews were exposed up to 50 years ago. Things might have turned out differently – Crown Prince Faisal, later the British-appointed King of Iraq, had signed a pact in 1919 with Chaim Weizmann viewing with sympathy the establishment of a Jewish home in Palestine. Instead, Arab ruling elites made Zionism a crime from 1948 onwards, passed discriminatory legislation and whipped up popular feeling against the Jews to distract attention from their illegitimacy, their internal problems and obligations.

The situation today

 

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, the concept of Ottoman pluralism (whatever its limitations) could not be more remote. The Arab world is almost monolithically Muslim and judenrein. Pan-Arab nationalism is a spent force but pan-Islamism is asserting its grip. Those Copts, Assyrians and other groups who have not fled continue to be persecuted and marginalized.

 

The mass media of the Muslim world pump out a new antisemitism, inspired by Saudi Wahabism, fed by Koranic accounts of Jewish treachery and drawing on every antisemitic motif and conspiracy theory in the book. This antisemitism is a product of the Israel-Arab dispute, but a fight between two nationalisms over the same piece of land has changed, with the rise of Islamic fundamentalism, into an intractable religious conflict. Israel is an affront to the umma: what was once Muslim territory can never become non-Muslim. Palestine must be reconquered by jihad and the Jews revert to their natural status of dhimmitude. Until this alarming religious dimension is addressed and the forces of Islamic militancy subdued, the conflict will be insoluble.

A Bird’s eye look at the historic ‘Israeli – Arab conflict’ towards Annapolis 2007

 

Around 2,000 years ago, 70 AD, the Romans that have conquered Israel, the Jewish people, the Jewish land, (after killing Jesus) destroy Jews’ second temple, massacre hundreds of thousands following a revolt against Rome’s oppression and prohibition on practicing Judaism, mass torture and a complete suffocating siege on Jerusalem [an armed rebellion, one which was disapproved by the rabbis & by any religious leaders], they expell the majority of Jews out of the land [as was expected ahead of time, throught the Jewish prophets, because God expects from his people – the Jews much more than from other nations (Amos 3:2), still, the cruel Romans “carried” out the evil deeds].

The Romans have also renamed Israel as ‘Palestina’. The land however was mostly deserted and mainly survived by some Jews who still lived there.

Many years later, at the beginning of the 600’s,  an Arab named Muhammad will create a new religion called Islam, he will massacre the Jews of Madina for not following him, lead attacks first on Arabs themselves and on all who has not accepted him, this battle on non-Muslims still continues on today, he will later on also claim that he had a dream that he was in the Jewish city of Israel: Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, in Christianity, Jews’ refusal to change their religion to which [Jewish born] Jesus came up with caused resentment among Christians, and hatred brought the belief that it was the Jews who “caused” Jesus to die, then this fanatical religious hatred even gave birth to all kind of imaginary “theories”, stereotypes blatant lies and libels, persecution, mass murder, etc.

Later on in persecuting the Jews in Europe, they were expelled time and time again (often called to return after being expelled, for their urgent need of Jews’ talent, intelligence and seriousness in life – vital for Europeans economy).
Many European haters have called upon them to return to their homeland Israel.

This traditional hatred was used by Adolf Hitler in his delusional “Aryan” supremacy to use Christians who still hold that hatred, against the Jews he was so obsessed with in his animosity, as he came up with most criminal idea ever known to mankind [Though, already in biblical times, between the first and second Jewish temples, it was the WICKED Haman who planned total extermination, genocide, as stated in the holy book of Esther, where Hebrews / Israelites were already referred to as JEWS], so far as implementing a ‘final solution’, aka, to exterminate all Jews (no matter if they are religious, or not, communists or not, Zionists or not, secular, atheists, Jews with no ideology at all, men, women, children, babies, all were doomed by the infamous criminal number one in history, that has caused a total of around 50 million deaths, whereas at least 6,000,000 were Jews, murdered for no other reason then for pertaining to one particular root, being, simply, Jews).

Muslims fight Christians for decades, long and bloody battles.

The Turks had a stronghold on the holy-land after defeating the Christians.
Jews were generally not persecuted under the Turkish Ottoman rule in Israel “Palestine”. In the late 1800’s Jewish immigrants and Arab immigrants, both rose to a new level, as Zionists started to cultivate the land, in the early 1900’s under the British colonialism & occupation, Jews were restricted in entry to their historic land but Arabs were not, a vicious rule that has continued during and after Hitler’s holocaust, when poor Jewish victims tried to escape], this imbalance “policy” by the British which was pushed by the Arabs out of racism and bigotry to “others”, has “made” the Arabs a majority for a while.

One of the main Arab racist & Islamic fascist agitators was Haj Amin Al Husseini the infamous ‘Mufti’, he was behind such massacres as in Hebron 1929 where innocent unarmed Jewish were sloughtered by Arabs Muslims, he was also behind the 1941 ‘Farhud’ pogrom on the Jews of Baghdad. Priot to attacking the Jews, he participated in the Islamic genocide on Armenian Christians in 1915, where 1.5 million were murdered.

He was the one Arab (though not “Aryan”) leader that made a pact with Hitler and led a Bosnian Muslim division of the SS to carry out atrocities against the Serb Christians and against Jews.

The United Nations founded post WW 2, after 2,000 years of persecuting the Jews and so many millions murdered [before the six millions murdered by Germany’s nazis, all throughout history in Europe there were countless victims], gave “permission” to the Jews to re-establish their homeland Israel, along side an Arab state, basically a two states solution.

The Jews agreed, all they wanted past and present, is to ‘live and let live’, but the Arabs refused, the bigots wanted all of the land for themselves.

1948 Israel is re-established, ALL Arab nations vow to destroy Israel, declare war on this little newborn state, Arab leaders vouch for genocide! to “Throw the Jews into the Sea”.

Arab leaders call upon Arabs residing in Israel-“Palestine” to evacuate their homes for a while until “mission — of throwing into the sea– is accomplished”.

Tiny Israel heroically defends itself and thwarts gigantic Arabs’ attacks.

A phenomenon of “Arab refugees” is born, but also a larger refugees population, that from the Arab on Jews, between 800,000 & 900,000 Jews are expelled from Arab Muslim countries: Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, etc.
Their land, properties confiscated.

The contrast however how Jews dealt with Jewish refugees and how Arabs have dealt with Arab refugees is huge, Jews are completely absorbed into Israel, Arabs have rejected the Arab refugees, keeping them down, and using them as a foot ball against Israel.
As the Saudi Arab king Fahd said: “Next to the Jews, we hate the ‘Palestinians’ the most”.

Arabs terrorize Jews, attacking the innocent, as Arab terror intensifies & Arab leaders threaten again and again to annihilate the Jews, the 1967 war breaks out, Israel that had enough, succesfully conquers some Egyptian land and more land pertaining to Israel – historically and Biblically but not granted by the UN, though the Arabs illegally defied the UN in rejecting Israel and UN’s two states solution.

The balance of world’s powers plays out in the middle east, USSR supports and arms the Arabs, US is on Israel, [the surviving David vs Goliath] side.

The local Arabs [which most of their parents or grandparents have immigrated to the holy land] start to call themselves as “Palestinians” (PS no connection to “Philistines” who were NOT Arabs nor spoke Arabic, and are all gone, absolutely nothing remained from them).

Continued Arabs’ attacks targeting unarmd civilians, rose in the 1970, such as the massacres of school children in Avivim, Maalot and other attacks, more famous in the 1972 massacre of Israeli Athletes in Munich by the Egyptian born: Yasser Arafat, the leader (somehow…) of the Arab “Palestinians”.

He is in Jordan and as a trouble maker creates the “Palestinian” intifada attack on Jordan’s government, 1970 – ‘Black September’, but Jordan quickly oppresses even more the “Palestinians”, kills many, makes mass arrests, in 1971 the PLO is expelled.

He finds a safe heaven in Syrian’s occupied Lebanon, he adds more destruction to the already tense relations between Christians & Muslims in that country.

He Islamizes the Christian Bethlehem, oppresses Christian Arabs in general.

In 1973 Israel is again attacked by Arab nations, mainly by Egypt and Syria, a delicate date is chosen, the cruel Saadat and his advisers chose Yom Kippur a Jewish fast day, the vicious Arabs chose the time of day, towards the end of the day (before breaking the fast).

The attack was in a surprise, many were killed, although Israel managed to win the war (as all wars), still the Arabs saw it as “victory”, as a blood thirst cult, for the simple reason that many ‘Jews were killed’.

In 1976, amidst civil war between Christians and Muslims in Lebanon, the Muslim “Palestinians”, PLO – Arafat, and the Syrians carry out the massacre of Christians in Damour, this was the reason for Christian Arabs massacring “Palestinians” in Sabra Shatila in 1982.

1978-1979, Israel’s leader Menachem Begin & Egypt’s Anuar Sadaat break a peace agreement in which Israel shall give back the land conquered in 1967, Sinai that is [which so it did], and the Arabs give nothing, just a “promise” not to attack, and so a cold peace comes in place between Israel – Egypt.
Syria refuses to ‘sit down for any peace negotiations’ and leads many in the Arab world against Egypt & its more moderate stand.

Goliath Arabs using it’s oil power, intimidate nations to be against Israel in boycotts, and in the United Nations.
Basically hijacking the UN for the Arabist agenda, of bashing Israel no matter what it does.
This Arab control worldide intensifies as the years pass by and expands into all international bodies.

On another front, in Iran, the Shah rules, he is an ally of the United States but he is not exactly a democratic leader, US presidemt (called by so many the worstt ex president) Jimmy Carter pushes pressure on Iran.
In 1979 a revolution happens, not what the US wanted nior what most in the world have wish for, an Islamic revolution, a militant Islam, a Shiite extremism, headed by the Ayatollah Hummeini.

Immediately, the American embassy is hijacked, the workers kidnapped for 444 days, until US has a bettr leader, a courageous Ronald Reagan.

Iranian Satanic Mullahs declare that the United States is the “big Satan” and Israel is the “little Satan’.

Millions of Iranians are oppressed under Islamic Republic, standing out even in the “usual’ Islamic dictatorships standards.
Asides from killing of minorities such as Ahwazi, Kurds, Druze, which even information is so scarce out of that jail house known as state of Iran.

They are behind creating, training and arming the Islamic Hezbullah in Lebanon, the ‘Party of Allah’, whose goal is creating a militant Islamic Shia theocracy in Lebanon with [no Christians or any non Muslims’ in Lebanon, and ultimately in the entire middle east including “liberating Jerusalem” as they call it], Hezbollah carried out terror attack such as on US marine barricades in Lebanon in 1983, the US was stationed there to keep peace between Christians & Muslims figting civil war.

Israel, its civilians being attacked by Arafat’s terrorists – based in Lebanon (as a practical ‘Palestinian’ army there), enters that country in 1982 to root them out, at first is received by local Arabs, Muslims with candies and flowers, as most Lebanese want the “Palestinian” troublemakers out, but the operation ‘Peace for the Gallilee’, turns into a long and bloody war, all while Syria still occupies Lebanon, PLO & [Iran’s & Syria’s backed] Hezbollah causes many deaths among all sides.

Yasser Arafat declares two “intifadas” (1987 & 2000), bloody violence on Israel’s unarmed men. women and children, targeting the most crwoded places, in a clear attempt to cause as many civilinas deaths’ as possible = Genocide bombings.
“Palestinian” mainstream and official media in demonizing Jews, in glorifying mass murder and “martyrdom” is full force, the death cult of camps for children to be ‘human bombs’ is greased by Saudi Arab oil with large payments for every parent that sends its kid to die via killing many innocent Israelis.
In order to create public sympathy, the Arab Muslim “Palestinians” make sure the kids are pushed on the front lines, often with “stones”, to cover for adult terrorists with machine guns.
The tactics of using kids as human shields by “Palestinian” terrorists proved to be effected, as the global media rarely puts the blame on the Arab adults and leaders and not on Israel trying to defend, to survive.

Israel complies with UN’s resolution for Israel to leave Lebanon and for the Hezbollah’s army to dissolve, Israel exists bit the Hezbillah remains armed. In 2000, the most powerful Christian leader, the Pope has issues the Church’s formal apology to the Jews of the 2,000 years of constant persecution and bloodhsed. September 11, 2001, the Islamic attack that butchered 3,000 innocent people in the United States of America, reinforced the recognition of radical Islam’s war on the west, their ‘plan’ for a global repressive Islamic empire (recognized even by left wingers such as Barack Obama in 2007). So was the continuous Islamic massacres, including the one in Bali 2002 on Australian youths.

2005, Israel gives a big gift for Arab “Palestinians”, sacrificing a huge steak, giving away of it’s vital borderline own land, the Gaza strip.

The Arab “Palestinians” react very traditionally, the more you give them the more they get radicalized, they vote — overwhelmingly — for the Islamic Jihad party of Hamas, who does not “recognize” Israel, vouch for it’s destruction and its members promise to “drink Jews’ blood”.

The Hamas-tan Islamic Apartheid creates more Islamization, persecuting Christians, often threatening individuals to “change” their faith, practice.

“Palestinians” via Hamas express more publicly their “plan” of Islamic world repressive domination [Caliphate].

The civil war between Hamas & Fatah (who’s still has under its wings the terror group ‘Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade’, but Hamas is still more on the extreme with it’s genocide aims), intensifies in 2006 – 2007

2006 Iran & Syria decide to send it’s Hezbollah Islamic army to attack Israel, a war breaks out, Israel hits Hezbollah which uses ‘Palestinian’ tactics of human shields to cause as many Arab kids’ deaths possible, in order to create a media shift in the Arab world towards more Anti-Israelism.

In November 2007, there’s an attempt by US’ president George W. Bush to break a peace agreement between Israel and the Arab “Palestinians”, Fatah is present, Hamas denounces.

The agreement is still based mainly on that first UN’s resolution of 1948, a two states solution, which the Arabs ILLEGALLY have rejected then until now.

Not only are they exploiting again Israel’s kindness and its urge to give for any chance for peace, but hese Arabs even make the Jewish eternal capital Jerusalem an issue for Muslims, as if this was ‘always an Islamic thing’.

As it stands now, the main real issue Israel still struggles with, is survival against the twin diabolical intolerance that motivated – motivates Arab Muslims, the Arab racism & Islamic Jihad. the Arab racism and Arabization also claims millions of victims in Africa, including Sudan, Mauritania, Chad and more, so are all non Arab minorities in the middle east paying the price of persecution, then the Islamic Jihad´s war on the world is the cancer everywhere on the globe, main victims are: Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and other non Muslims or ‘infidels’, or ‘kuffars’.

Worth mentioning that Israel is by in large a secular State, most of its very religious Jews, the Ultra Orthodox do NOT serve in the Israeli Army out of principles.
The first to try to negotiate a peace treaty with the Arabs was the Ultra Orthodox Jew, Professor Dahan, it was prior to the reestablishment of Israel, he was murdered.
Still, this community’s children are as much a target by radical Muslims terrorists.

Too late but better late than never, Arab ‘moderates’ start to realize that a nuclear Islamic Repulic of Iran is a danger to all.

HISTORICAL ACCOUNTS PRIOR TO CONFLICT

The vast majority of travelogues and historical accounts of the Middle east describe this area as barren- that does not mean UN -populated- it does mean UNDER populated. Alexander Keith, recalling Volney’s 1785 description (quoted above) fifty years later, commented: “In his day [Volney’s] the land had not fully reached its last degree of desolation and depopulation.” (The Land of Israel).

Other travelers and pilgrims recorded similar reports of the dreary state of the Land around the middle of the nineteenth century. Here are just a few examples:

Alphonse de Lamartine, in 1835: “…a complete eternal silence reigns in the town, on the highways, in the country … the tomb of a whole people” (Recollections of the East, Vol. I, p. 308).

A contemporary German encyclopedia (Brockhaus, “Allegmeine deutsche Real- Encyklopaidie”, Vol. VIII, p. 206, Leipzig, 1827) calls Palestine “desolate and roamed through by Arab robber-bands.”

In 1849, the American W. F. Lynch described the desertion of Palestinian villages “caused by the frequent forays of the wandering Bedouin” (Narrative of the United States Expedition to the River Jordan and the Dead Sea, p. 489).

And again H. B. Tristram, in 1865: “… both in the north and south (of the Sharon plain), land is going out of cultivvation, and whole villages ar rapidly disappearing from the face of the earth. Since the year 1838, no less than 20 villages have been thus erased from the map (by the Bedouin) and the stationary population extirpated” (p. 490).

Mark Twain, ‘Innocents Abroad’ 1867:

“”Desolate country whose soil is rich enough but is given over wholly to weeds – a silent mournful expanse … We reached Tabor safely … We never saw a human being on the whole route” (p. 451, 480); “There is not a solitary village throughout its (the Jezreel Valley’s) whole extent – not for thirty miles in either direction. There are two or three small clusters of Bedouin tents but not a single permanent habitation. One may ride ten miles, hereabouts, and not see ten human beings” (p. 448); “Of all the lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince. The hills are barren … the valleys are unsightly deserts… It is a hopeless, dreary, heartbroken land… Palestine is desolate and unlovely… Palestine is no more of this workday world. It is sacred to poetry and tradition – it is dreamland” (pp. 564, 567).

Referring to the same era, the Christian historian James Parkes writes in Whose Land?: “Peasant and Bedouin alike have contributed to the ruin of the countryside on which both depend for a livelihood… In spite of the immense fertility of the soil, it is probable that in the first half of the nineteenth century the population sank to the lowest level it had ever known in historic times.”

In 1738, the land was described by the English archeologist Thomas Shaw as “lacking in people to till its fertile soil” (Travels and Observations Relating to Several Parts of Barbary and the Levant). The French historian Conte Constantine Francois Volney writes:

“The peasants are incessantly making inroads on each other’s lands, destroying their corn, durra, sesame and olive-trees, and carrying off their sheep, goats and camels. The Turks, who are everywhere negligent in repressing similar disorders, are attentive to them here, since their authority is very precarious. The Bedouin, whose camps occupy the level country, are continually at open hostility Alexander Keith, recalling Volney’s 1785 description (quoted above) fifty years later, commented: “In his day [Volney’s] tthe land had not fully reache its last degree of desolation and depopulation.” (The Land of Israel).

In 1849, the American W. F. Lynch described the desertion of Palestinian villages “caused by the frequent forays of the wandering Bedouin” (Narrative of the United States Expedition to the River Jordan and the Dead Sea, p. 489).

And again H. B. Tristram, in 1865: “… both in the north and south (of the Sharon plain), land is going out of cultivvation, and whole villages ar rapidly disappearing from the face of the earth. Since the year 1838, no less than 20 villages have been thus erased from the map (by the Bedouin) and the stationary population extirpated” (p. 490).

Mark Twain, ‘Innocents Abroad’ 1867:

“”Desolate country whose soil is rich enough but is given over wholly to weeds – a silent mournful expanse … We reached Tabor safely … We never saw a human being on the whole route” (p. 451, 480); “There is not a solitary village throughout its (the Jezreel Valley’s) whole extent – not for thirty miles in either direction. There are two or three small clusters of Bedouin tents but not a single permanent habitation. One may ride ten miles, hereabouts, and not see ten human beings” (p. 448); “Of all the lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince. ARAB CHRISTIANS: AN INTRODUCTION

For years, the term “Arab Christians” was used to categorize the Christians in the Middle East. However, the concept instead of being precisely defined was intellectually misused and politically abused. Both Arab regimes and “Arabists” in the West attempted to libel all Christians living under the sovereignty of Arab states, as “Arab Christians.”

This denial of identity of millions of indigenous non-Arab nations can be equated to an organized ethnic cleansing on a politico-cultural level. Similarly to the Turkish attempts to eradicate the ethnic identity of the Kurds, whom they call “Mountain Turks,” and the Assyrians, whom they define as “Semitic Turks.”

Arab-Islamic regimes in the region assert that all those Christians who live within the confines of “Arab borders” are “Arab.” With Arab nationalism at its peak, and “Arabist” circles at the apex of their political influence in the West, the pre-Arab ethnicities of the Middle East became the real underdogs of the region. The Arab Israeli conflict increased their crisis. Not only the non-Arab ethnicities, particularly the non-Moslem ones, were denied their basic rights, stripped from their ancestral lands, but they were pressured to participate in the general “war effort” conducted by the Arab regimes against a non-Arab nation, i.e. the Jews of Israel.
The gestalt of global Arab strategy in the region was to pit non-Arabs against other non-Arabs, after demonizing those who have formed their national state Israel, and fragmented those who weren’t able to implement self determination. The Christians in the Middle East are not just a religious group, nor do they form one single community. The overwhelming majority of the Christians in the region are ethnically non-Arab, and their major common characteristic is their subjection to Arab colonialism and Islamic oppression for thirteen centuries. The Christians in the Middle East are not, as it was portrayed by the Arab regimes and many in the West, the followers of Christian faith among the Arab ethnic group. “Arab Christians” exist in few spots in the region, but they are a minuscule minority within the world of Middle Eastern Christianity.

In the beginning…

Israel has always faced genocide, from the moment the Islamo Arab fascist leader, the infamous [later on exposed as Hitler’s buddy] Mufti Haj Amin Al Husseini has called, incited, led to “kill the Jews” in the 1920s.

The Mufti, that prior to inciting to “kill the Yahud [Jews]” & leading massacres such as Hebron 1929 and the Farhud in Baghdad 1941, has participated in the massacres and genocide of Christians, the Armenian Genocide that is [http://Armenian-Genocide.org], where 1.5 Million Christians were brutally murdered.
An ally of the Nazi “Fuhrer”: Adolph Hitler, and led the Bosnian Muslim SS to commit crimes against Serb Christians in 1943.

They are milestones in the beginning of the attempt of genocide, the massacres of the 1920s, the more notorious among them: the Jerusalem pogroms 1920-21, the Hebron massacre 1929.

So were, time and time again, the open declarations by the Arab wolf-nations that tried again and again to swallow the little Israel lamb, or in their words: to throw the Jews into the sea”.

Their self destructive critical rejection of the UN’s partition plan in 1948 to have both, a Jewish state alongside an Arab state, was the same ethnic cleansing message, as they were never about being “for their [Arab] people”, but rather against the Jews, not to support anything for Palestinian Arabs, but to eradicate any Jewish presence, which is why the Arab world chose so viciously to attack immediately the little re-instated reborn state in it’s historic place.

So was their real motivation for adherence to Arab leaders’ call at that time: to abandon their homes, only for a “short while” so that the Arab armies could defeat the Jews into the sea.

Bombers Target – Mass Crowds

The term ‘Genocide bombers’ referring to suicide/homicide bombers, the plague-phenomenon that was pushed mainly by that butcher Egyptian born “Palestinian-made-icon” Yasser Arafat, a well suited term, as the open and clear attempt is “to kill as many unarmed people as possible”, that is the clear plan of a “suicide” bomber, packed with explosives, with metal particles/nails etc., their plan: to be detonated in the most crowded of places on unarmed innocent civilians [bus stops, shopping malls, eating places, etc., where the crowds are], the bigger the crowed the “better”… preferably kids.

What they lie to the world about a “struggle”

No matter how hard the international Goliath propaganda, greased by Arab Muslim giants oil, based in the entity called “Palestine” or Pallywood, that it’s so called “struggle” is for something supposedly “human” demands, [to which “struggle” in it of itself is already a pure propaganda term, it’s intended to make sure you “get it”, that it’s the weak against the powerful – presumably, when the truth is that the powerful is the “Palestinian” attacker rather, that couldn’t care less about his own children that he uses for shields and for human bombs, whereas the real weak is moral Israel, that is the ONLY entity in the middle east, that does care so much for non terrorists Arab deaths,] is null and void in face of the past and present reality of the real danger Israel faces and is up against, a “people” that is supporting parties, ideologies & actions of total crimes against humanity (the real ones, not the propaganda term by the Arab hijacked UN when tarnishing Israel’s self defense actions), genocide (Fatah is no “moderate”, http://pmw.org.il has been documenting their mainstream education & official PA media of de-legitimization of Israel, hatred of Jews, glorifying mass murder, etc., it’s just that Hamas is more extreme), has no legitimacy to lie to the west that it really wants something “human”, so it can be closer to it’s ultimate desired ‘ethnic cleansing’ goal.

Such a group of people is overwhelmingly wrong morally and is the only culprit in it’s children’s plight, in giving them instead of life, a death cult of Jihad, “martyrdom” and instilling racial hatred.

Such a group that is willing to kill (via their tactics or directly as in the ‘Muhammad Al Dura’ affair and more) it’s own children for the sake to appear as victims, just how much of “victims”, can the Arab ‘Palestinians’ still be called?

Who guarantees that a [never before in history, a first!] “Palestinian” state given to these Arabs will diminish their desire for global domination and not be another convenient tool towards it?

That “occupation” criminal excuse

Is “Occupation” an Excuse for Terrorism?

No reasonable person can doubt that Palestinian extremists have been committing terrorist acts against the Israeli civilian population on a very wide scale. Call it what you will, under the banners of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al Aksa Martyrs’ Brigades and others, these terrorists have intentionally targeted the most defenseless Israelis, including infants, children, and the elderly. They say they must do it to fight the “Israeli occupation.” They say they have no alternative.

The word “occupation” is indeed the most powerful weapon in the Palestinians’ propaganda arsenal. It is a serious charge. Therefore we must examine the questions: Just what is this “occupation,” and is it a legitimate excuse for violence against innocent people?

The claim that “occupation” excuses terrorism has made Palestinian extremists seem credible and has made gratuitous violence look legitimate. Aside from the very obvious moral weakness of any attempt to excuse intentional violence against civilians, the claim is false for at least two basic reasons:

1) Arabs committed terrorist atrocities against Jewish civilians years before the existence of what is now called the “occupation.”

2) The Palestinians refused even to negotiate a genuine peace offer that could soon have ended the so-called “occupation.” There was never any need to resort to violence.

These two facts are enough to invalidate any attempt to use “occupation” to justify terrorism. The “occupation” excuse for terrorism has persisted nevertheless, and so deserves a full examination.

The word “occupation” in this discussion refers to the presence of Israelis in the West Bank and in Gaza. What is its origin?

Before 1967, the West Bank was part of Jordan and Gaza was part of Egypt, and Israel had nothing to do with them. Then came the Six Day War.

In the spring of 1967 the Arab states were preparing for war. Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser ordered the UN Emergency Force to leave the Sinai. Egyptian and Syrian troops massed along the Israeli border. Egypt closed the Gulf of Aqaba to Israeli shipping and blockaded the port of Eilat. This itself was an act of war. Cutting off a major supply route placed Israel in a stranglehold.

The Arabs made their intentions clear. An official radio broadcast proclaimed:

As of today, there no longer exists an international emergency force to protect Israel. We shall exercise patience no more. We shall not complain any more to the UN about Israel. The sole method we shall apply against Israel is total war, which will result in the extermination of Zionist existence.

Israel, knowing its existence was threatened, launched a preemptive strike against the Egyptian air force. The result was an Israeli victory in a surprisingly short period of time. Afterwards Israel found itself in control of pieces of Arab territory in the front-line states that had attacked it: Egypt, Syria, and Jordan.

FrontPageMagazine.com | Friday, November 09, 2007 This Sunday, November 11th, 2007, after three years of planning and construction in the courtyard of Yasser Arafat’s “mukataa” headquarters in Ramallah, a mausoleum in memory of the Godfather of Terror will be inaugurated with a full military ceremony. It will launch the memorial day to mark the three years since his death.Machmud Abbas, a.ka. Abu Mazen, Arafat’s protégé and successor, will cut the ribbon, followed by the entire Palestinian and Fatah leadership that will enter the mausoleum. Also invited to the ceremony are ambassadors, diplomatic representatives and heads of international organizations. After the visit to the tomb, a prayer session will be held at a new mosque built next to the mausoleum.Arafat’s tomb is located within a huge spacious oblong building in the form of the Qaba at Mecca, painted white. On the building are inscribed quotations from the Koran.Having covered Arafat for more than a decade, I am often asked what was it like to cover Arafat and to speak with him.Indeed, the news agency that I work with in Jerusalem had become known as the “Arafat tape” agency, because of our editing and distribution of Arafat’s numerous appearances on the official media of the PBC, the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation TV, which belied any true hint of peace. These videos were also shown in Congress.In November 1996, on the day that coincided with Thanksgiving eve in the US, this reporter covered a delegation of 10 Israeli residents from Judea and Samaria who met with Yasser Arafat at his domicile in Bethlehem.To summarize the purpose of the meeting in two words, one participant described it as “reality testing.” Arafat had maintained a consistent policy of saying one thing in English, advocating peace and co-existence, while conveying quite another message in Arabic, as he continued to incite the Palestinian Arab people to war with the Jewish state. Arafat had yet to deliver even one message that calls for peace with the state of Israel in the Arabic language.What the delegation wanted to know was with whom they were dealing: a neighbor of peace or an antagonist at war?This unofficial “settler delegation” asked Arafat very specific and pointed questions as to whether he would indeed embark on a policy of peace or war.The idea was to look to the future, not to the past. Would Arafat finally make a speech in Arabic in which he would call for peace with the state of Israel? Would the PBC “Voice of Palestine” Radio, which was under the direct control of Arafat, stop its invective against Israelis, especially against the Israeli residents of Judea and Samaria (The West Bank)? Would Arafat encourage teachers and other officials of the Palestine Authority to participate in programs that encourage tolerance and co-existence?Arafat was all smiles throughout our two-hour sessions delivering long-winded speeches in which he professed to be a man of tolerance and understanding, well deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize.I then asked Arafat a pointed question: Would he get on the airwaves of the Voice of Palestine and proclaim reconciliation with Israel in the Arabic language to his own people, and would Arafat denounce any and all murders of Jews on that same station, if future murders occur. Arafat nodded his head and said that he “speaks about peace all the time”, to which I responded that we have no such record. “You will see,” Arafat said and finished the meeting in a cordial manner.What the participants thought and felt after the meeting was that Arafat would deliver his answer through actions, not with words.Arafat’s “answer” was not long in coming. Exactly two weeks later, on the seventh night of Chanukah, a dimly lit drizzly evening near the Israeli community of Beit El, three Palestinians shot up the car of the Tzur family of Beit El, killing a mother and child in the car. The killers’ smoldering vehicle was found in one of the “safe havens” of the Palestinian Authority.

We called Arafat after the attack. So did all major media. He was nowhere to be found.

However, the next morning, Arafat’s PBC radio newsreel broadcast that an “incident occurred on the settler road” where “two criminal settlers were killed.”

The next day, our news agency dispatched a TV crew to Gaza to give Arafat the direct opportunity to say something about the attack. We had the opportunity to see Arafat once more.

Smiling widely again, Arafat greeted reporters and waved away the question about the murders in Beit El. A few hours later, Arafat then issued a public order that if the killers at Bait El are caught, they would not be turned over.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority confirmed that 10 recent killers of Israeli civilians had been hired as officers in the Palestinian Liberation Army police force.

Arafat had delivered his answer loud and clear to the delegation that came to see him.

In the topsy-turvy Orwellian world in which we live, Yasser Arafat, the leader of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, defined under Israeli law as a terrorist organization, was a Nobel Peace Laureate, while Israeli residents of Judea, Samaria and Katif (in Gaza) are often thought of portrayed as warmongers.

And when Arafat made his first visit to the UN in 1974, the PLO leader grasped an olive branch in one hand and a pistol in the other.

Epilogue One: Two years later, on December 1st, 1998, Arafat appeared at a US State Department briefing that I covered. US Secretary of State Madelyn Albright gave me the opportunity to ask a question of Arafat. I asked Arafat if he would stand by the commitment to preach reconciliation in the Arabic language that he had given two years before, and I presented Arafat with the records of his speeches from the previous few weeks, in which, among other things, Arafat had called the Jews “the Sons of Satan.”

Arafat’s response was to foam from the mouth and pound on the State Department platform and scream that “I love the Jews, I love the Jews!

Epilogue Two: As the United Jewish Communities meets in its annual General Assembly of Jewish Federations this Sunday in Nashville, Tennessee on the day that marks three years since Yasser Arafat’s death, it should be recalled that in October 1999, the same United Jewish Communities (UJC), almost awarded Arafat the Isaiah Peace Prize.

After I was provided with written documentation of the prize, and after I published in the Jewish Advocate in Boston and the Forward in New York, the UJC peace prize to Arafat was cancelled, with no explanation as to why such an award was offered by a Jewish group to Arafat and as to why it was cancelled. What the UJC did, however, was to hire Kroll Associates, a private investigation firm, to determine how the news of this prize was leaked to this reporter. They never found out.

Members of the media are focusing much attention on Yasir Arafat’s legacy. Many of the historical briefs and timelines being published whitewash his decades-long involvement in terrorism. While they note that Arafat led Fatah and the PLO, the terrorist acts committed by these groups are often ignored. For example, a Nov. 4 AP timeline, reproduced in the publications and Web sites of many different media outlets, lists only one failed act of sabotage in 1965, 3 suicide bombings in December of 2001 and one in 2002. In fact, groups under Arafat’s direct or indirect command – including Fatah, Black September, Tanzim and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade – were responsible for hundreds of bombings, hijackings, assassinations and other attacks, including the 1972 murder of 11 of Israel’s Olympic athletes in Munich, the 1973 murder of the American ambassador to Sudan, Cleo Noel, and the 1985 hijacking of the Achille Lauro cruiseship (resulting in the murder of wheelchair-bound Leon Klinghoffer). The AP timeline instead highlights Israel’s anti-PLO actions without providing the reason – decades of terrorist attacks against innocent civilians. Not only is the PLO’s history of international hijackings, kidnappings and child murders ignored, the terrorist organization and Arafat’s leadership of it are actually praised: Feb. 4, 1969: Arafat takes over PLO chairmanship, transforms it into a dynamic force that makes Palestinian cause known worldwide. A Knight-Ridder/Tribune timeline of Arafat’s life that appeared in Newsday only mentions terror once, in 2001: “Blamed for not controlling terrorist attacks on Israel by Hamas, other radicals.” Typical of many of the flawed timelines, it implies only that Arafat failed to control terror, not that he was actively involved in funding and supporting it. In order to report on Arafat’s history objectively, one must include his decades-long involvement in terror, his goal of destroying Israel, and his siphoning of hundreds of millions of dollars from money donated to help the Palestinian people that went instead into his own private accounts. Yasir Arafat is known to many as the “father of modern terrorism.” Below is a timeline of some of the key events of his life and terrorist acts with which he was associated. Homes are destroyed and Israelis are killed. – July 1968: Fatah joins and becomes the dominant member of the PLO, an umbrella organization of Palestinian terrorist groups. – Feb. 4, 1969: Arafat is appointed Chairman of the Executive Committee of the PLO – Feb. 21, 1970: SwissAir flight 330, bound for Tel Aviv, is bombed in mid-flight by PFLP, a PLO member group. 47 people are killed. – May 8, 1970: PLO terrorists attack an Israeli schoolbus with bazooka fire, killing nine pupils and three teachers from Moshav Avivim – Sept. 6, 1970: TWA, Pan-Am, and BOAC airplanes are hijacked by PLO terrorists. – September 1970: Jordanian forces battle the PLO terrorist organization, driving its members out of Jordan after the group’s violent activity threatens to destabilize the kingdom. The terrorists flee to Lebanon. This period in PLO history is called “Black September.” – May 1972: PFLP, part of the PLO, dispatches members of the Japanese Red Army to attack Lod Airport in Tel Aviv, killing 27 people. – Sept. 5, 1972: Munich Massacre —11 Israeli athletes are murdered at the Munich Olympics by a group calling themselves “Black September,”said to be an arm of Fatah, operating under Arafat’s direct command. – March 1, 1973: Palestinian terrorists take over Saudi embassy in Khartoum. The next day, two Americans –including the United States’ ambassador to Sudan, Cleo Noel – and a Belgian were shot and killed. James J. Welsh, an analyst for the National Security Agency from 1969 through 1974, charged Arafat with direct complicity in these murders. – April 11, 1974: 11 people are killed by Palestinian terrorists who attack apartment building in Kiryat Shmona. – May 15, 1974: PLO terrorists infiltrating from Lebanon hold children hostage in Ma’alot school. 26 people, 21 of them children, are killed. – June 9, 1974: Palestinian National Council adopts “Phased Plan,” which calls for the establishment of a Palestinian state on any territory evacuated by Israel, to be used as a base of operations for destroying the whole of Israel. The PLO reaffirms its rejection of United Nations Security Council Resolution 242, which calls for a “just and lasting peace” and the “right to live in peace within secure and recognized boundaries free from threats or acts of force.” – November 1974: PLO takes responsibility for the PDFLP’s Beit She’an murders in which 4 Israelis are killed. – Nov. 13, 1974: Arafat, wearing a holster (he had to leave his gun at the entrance), addresses the U.N. General Assembly. – March 1975: Members of Fatah attack the Tel Aviv seafront and take hostages in the Savoy hotel. Three soldiers, three civilians and seven terrorists are killed. – March 1978: Coastal Road Massacre —Fatah terrorists take over a bus on the Haifa-Tel Aviv highway and kill 21 Israelis. – 1982: Having created a terrorist mini-state in Lebanon destabilizing that nation, PLO is expelled as a result of Israel’s response to incessant PLO missile attacks against northern Israeli communities. Arafat relocates to Tunis. – Oct. 7, 1985: Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro is hijacked by Palestinian terrorists. Wheelchair-bound elderly man, Leon Klinghoffer, was shot and thrown overboard. Intelligence reports note that instructions originated from Arafat’s headquarters in Tunis. – Dec. 12, 1988: Arafat claims to accept Israel’s right to exist. – September 1993: Arafat shakes hands with Israeli Prime Minister Rabin, inaugurating the Oslo Accords. Arafat pledges to stop incitement and terror, and to foster co-existence with Israel, but fails to comply. Throughout the years of negotiations, aside from passing, token efforts, Arafat does nothing to stop Hamas, PFLP, and Islamic Jihad from carrying out thousands of terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians. With Arafat’s encouragement and financial support, groups directly under Arafat’s command, such as the Tanzim and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, also carry out terror attacks. – Oct. 21, 1996: Speaking at a rally near Bethlehem, Arafat said “We know only one word – jihad. jihad, jihad, jihad. Whoever does not like it can drink from the Dead Sea or from the Sea of Gaza.” (Yediot Ahronot, October 23, 1996) – April 16, 1998: In a statement published in the official Palestinian Authority newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadeeda, Arafat is quoted: “O my dear ones on the occupied lands, relatives and friends throughout Palestine and the diaspora, my colleagues in struggle and in arms, my colleagues in struggle and in jihad…Intensify the revolution and the blessed intifada…We must burn the ground under the feet of the invaders.” – July 2000: Arafat rejects peace settlement offered by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, which would have led to a Palestinian state. – September 2000: New “intifada” is launched. Arafat continues to incite, support and fund terrorism. – Jan. 3, 2002: Israelis intercept the Karine-A, a ship loaded with 50 tons of mortars, rocket launchers, anti-tank mines and other weapons intended for the Palestinian war against the Israelis. The captain admits he was under the command of the Palestinian Authority. – September 2003: IMF report titled “Economic Performance and Reforms under Conflict Conditions,” states that Arafat has diverted $900 million of public PA funds into his own accounts from 1995 – 2000. Below are some of the attacks since Sept 2000 perpetrated by groups under Arafat’s command: – May 29, 2001: Gilad Zar, an Itamar resident, was shot dead in a terrorist ambush by Fatah Tanzim. – May 29, 2001: Sara Blaustein, 53, and Esther Alvan, 20, of Efrat, were killed in a drive-by shooting south of Jerusalem. The Fatah Tanzim claimed responsibility for the attack. – June 18, 2001: Doron Zisserman, 38, shot and killed in his car by Fatah sniper fire. – Aug 26, 2001: Dov Rosman, 58, killed in a shooting attack by Fatah terrorist. – Sept 6, 2001: Erez Merhavi, 23, killed in a Fatah Tanzim ambush shooting near Hadera while driving to a wedding. – Sept 20, 2001: Sarit Amrani, 26, killed by Fatah terrorist snipers as she was traveling in a car with her husband and 3 children. – Oct 4, 2001: 3 killed, 13 wounded, when a Fatah terrorist, dressed as an Israeli paratrooper, opened fire on Israeli civilians waiting at the central bus station in Afula. – Nov 27, 2001 – 2 killed 50 injured when two Palestinian terrorists opened fire with Kalashnikov assault rifles on a crowd of people near the central bus station in Afula. Fatah and the Islamic Jihad claimed joint responsibility. – Nov 29, 2001: 3 killed and 9 wounded in a suicide bombing on an Egged 823 bus en route from Nazereth to Tel Aviv near the city of Hadera. The Islamic Jihad and Fatah claimed responsibility for the attack. – Dec 12, 2001 – 11 killed and 30 wounded when three terrorists attacked a bus and several passenger cars with a roadside bomb, anti-tank grenades, and light arms fire near the entrance to Emmanuel in Samaria . Both Fatah and Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. – Jan 15, 2002: Avi Boaz, 71, an American citizen, was kidnapped at a PA security checkpoint in Beit Jala. His bullet-riddled body was found in a car near Bethlehem. The Fatah’s Al-Aksa Brigade claimed responsibility for the murder. – Jan 15, 2002: Yoela Chen, 45, was shot dead by an Al Aqsa Brigade terrorist – Jan 17, 2002: 6 killed, 35 wounded when a Fatah terrorist burst into a bat mitzva reception in a banquet hall in Hadera opening fire with an M-16 assault rifle. – Jan 22, 2002: 2 killed, 40 injured when a Fatah terrorist opened fire with an M-16 assault rifle near a bus stop in downtown Jerusalem. – Jan. 27, 2002: One person was killed and more than 150 were wounded by a female Fatah suicide bomber in the center of Jerusalem. – Feb 6, 2002 – A mother and her 11 year old daughter were murdered in their home by a Palestinian terrorist disguised in an IDF uniform. Both Fatah and Hamas claimed responsibility. – Feb 18, 2002 : – Ahuva Amergi, 30, was killed and a 60-year old man was injured when a Palestinian terrorist opened fire on her car. Maj. Mor Elraz, 25, and St.-Sgt. Amir Mansouri, 21, who came to their assistance, were killed while trying to intercept the terrorist. The terrorist was killed when the explosives he was carrying were detonated.
