ARAB MUSLIM CONTROL on western MEDIA

Who owns CNN?

The answers might surprise you (or maybe not). Ever wonder why CNN and Time are so blatantly pro-islamic. Ever wonder why these weasels want are tooo eager to toe liberal / islamic propaganda??

A good chunk of AOL Time Warner is owned by Prince Alwaleed Ibn Talal the Saudi billionaire. It is well known that Prince AlWaleed is a front for the Saudi royal family. All of the oil money that is swindled from Aramco the Saudi oil company is “invested” by Prince Al Waleed and his company. From the ‘Saudi Online’ page:
RIYADH, 12 March — Prince Alwaleed ibn Talal announced yesterday that he has spent $1 billion on stocks over the last six months, including another $500 million on Citigroup.
“Already the world’s largest shareholder in Citigroup, the prince’s shareholding in the world’s most profitable bank is now around $10 billion,” said a press release from his Kingdom Holding group.
“At about $43, Citi’s share price was at too attractive a price,” the prince said in the statement.
And he added $450 million to existing shares in AOL Time Warner. “The price was very cheap at around $23,” the prince said.
“I believe in the power of the AOL brand and I am already a shareholder in this global media giant. Therefore, when the price reached lucrative levels, we decided to increase our stake. The weakness in AOL’s stock price is temporary as it reflects the temporary weakness in several areas in which it is involved,” Alwaleed said.
He also increased his stake in priceline.com to $100 million, or 5.4 percent of the company.

Georgetown’s Capitulation to Radical Islam
By Joe Kaufman and Jeffrey Epstein
FrontPageMagazine.com Friday, January 06, 2006
Georgetown University was built with a Catholic and Jesuit identity. This bit of information is proudly displayed on the school’s website. But like Bethlehem in Israel, that identity is quickly being lost to a radical strain of Islam, as a counter-terror symposium has been abandoned and a pro-terror conference has been confirmed. Indeed, one of America’s most prestigious universities appears to be under siege.
Fearing violent reprisal from militant Muslim members of their student body, the school’s conference center rejected an educational symposium being hosted by America’s Truth Forum (formerly the People’s Truth Forum), a non-partisan, fact-based organization whose sole mission is to educate the American people on topics of national security. In this case, the subject matter to be discussed involved the “Underlying Roots of Terrorism: The Radical Islamist Threat to World Peace and National Security.”…
While the counter-terror symposium was shunned, an organization associated with violence has been awarded a forum. From February 17 – 19, the Palestine Solidarity Movement (PSM), an activist group that has expressed its willingness to work with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, will be holding its “Fifth Annual Divestment Conference” on Georgetown University’s campus. At past events, shouts of “Kill the Jews” and “Death to Israel” could be heard amongst the crowd. And according to a news report, during PSM’s last conference, when a resolution to condemn terrorism was voted down, “the delegates erupted in cheers.”
When PSM announced its event, it’s interesting to see who they sent a press release to. A site that devotes a page to the release, Palestine Monitor, is said by one source to be a “PRO-TERRORIST SITE.” This is easy to understand, as the website contains numerous pages glorifying the Intifada (uprising) against Israel. Another location that prominently displays the press release is Ramallah Online, a hate site that equates the Jewish Star (Star of David) with the Nazi Swastika.
Not wanting to anger its on-campus insurgency, the university has remained hush about the event. The consideration of a small matter of money may also be on Georgetown’s mind. The PSM conference is coming on the heels of a $20 million donation to the school, given by a fairly effluent Saudi sheikh, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. This is the same sheikh who had previously donated $27 million to a telethon that raised money for the families of suicide bombers.

New Islamic satellite channel launched
March 8, 2006
Filed under: Newspapers — Hans Henrik Lichtenberg
Prince Alwaleed ibn Talal, the chief executive of Saudi Arabia’s Kingdom Holding Company, has officially launched an Islamic satellite channel seeking to project Islam as a religion of moderation, the Arab News online daily reports. Al-Resalah (The Message) has been broadcasting informally since last Wednesday. At a press conference on Monday, Prince Alwaleed said the 24-hour channel would target an Arab audience, especially young people, by projecting ‘our Arab heritage through a modern medium.’. Al-Resalah will be the forerunner of a future English-language Islamic channel for Western audiences. The prince said the new Islamic network would provide a platform for a dialogue on religious, social and economic issues affecting everyday life, but its priority would be to counteract the misconceptions of Islam in other societies. Tarek Alsuwaidan, the channel?s general manager, said that 40 per cent of the programmes would be youth oriented, 30 per cent would target women and families, and 10 per cent would focus on children, Arab News reports. The Failure of Western Universities [incls. Middle East studies, MESA, Saudi funding at Georgetown and Harvard, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, John Esposito, Martin Kramer, Daniel Pipes]

Kari Vogt, historian of religion at the University of Oslo, has stated that Ibn Warraq’s book “Why I am Not a Muslim” is just as irrelevant to the study of Islam as The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion are to the study of Judaism. She is widely considered as one of the leading expert on Islam in Norway, and is frequently quoted in national media on matters related to Islam and Muslim immigration. People who get most of their information from the mainstream media, which goes for the majority of the population, will thus be systematically fed biased information and half-truths about Islam from our universities, which have largely failed to uphold the ideal of free inquiry. Unfortunately, this situation is pretty similar at universities and colleges throughout the West.

London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), scene to a growing number of anti-Semitic incidents from an increasingly pro-Islamic campus, issued a threat to one of its Jewish students to cease his protests against anti-Semitism at the University. Gavin Gross, an American, had been leading a campaign against the deterioration of conditions for Jewish students at SOAS, which is part of the University of London. SOAS had witnessed an escalation of anti-Jewish activity, in both severity and frequency. At the beginning of the year, the Islamic Society screened a video which compared Judaism with Satanism.
Meanwhile, in a move to “promote understanding between Islam and the West,” Saudi Arabia donated about SR13 million to a leading British museum. The officials said the money from Prince Sultan would pay for a new Saudi and Islamic gallery, which would help to portray Islamic culture and civilization in right perspectives. It would also help fund scholarships for Saudi students at Oxford University.

The Saudis and other oil-rich Arabs are busy buying influence over what Westerners hear about Islam. Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, a member of the Saudi Royal Family, is an international investor currently ranked among the ten richest persons in the world. He is known in the USA for a $10 million check he offered to New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani in October 2001 for the Twin Towers Fund. Mayor Giuliani returned the gift when he learned that the prince had called for the United States to “re-examine its policies in the Middle East and adopt a more balanced stance toward the Palestinian cause.”

Prince Talal is also creating a TV channel, Al-Resalah, to target American Muslims. He already broadcasts in Saudi Arabia. In 2005, Bin Talal bought 5.46% of voting shares in News Corp, the parent of Fox News. In December 2005 he boasted to Middle East Online about his ability to change what viewers see on Fox News. Covering the riots in France that fall, Fox ran a banner saying: “Muslim riots.” Bin Talal was not happy. “I picked up the phone and called Murdoch […] [and told him] these are not Muslim riots, these are riots out of poverty,” he said. “Within 30 minutes, the title was changed from Muslim riots to civil riots.”

The Anti Human ‘Palestinian’ Arabs use of ‘Human rights’ organizations

October 25, 2008

The Anti Human ‘Palestinian’ Arabs use of ‘Human rights’ organizations

The “human rights” propaganda.

One of the propaganda tools the Arab “Palestinians” have been using to further its goals of eradicating the mostly non-Muslim / non-Arab entity Israel, was/is the use of international “human rights” organizations.

The demoization of Israel that dares to fight for its survival as a ‘bad guy’ has been since the 1970’s well oil-ed by Saudi Arabia and other filthy rich Arab tycoons that never seem to have an iota of sympathy for the Arab ‘Palestinian’ brethren and their situation, instead they rather shed its billions to destructive anti Israel propaganda.

Using the image of a “weak” people vs a “mighty” Israel, they have psychologically gained the upper hand, as it looks pretty convincing and even more convenient for an Amnesty or HRW personnel to side with the supposed “victim”.

Even though the real source of Arab ‘Palestinian’ misery, which was always largely due to its 1) mass corruption, 2) oppression, stepping all over human rights of its people & 3) culture of hatred of Israel substituting for all “love” for its own population.

HRW does not disclose its private donors identity, one can only imagine the Arab oil lobby connection here.

Israel as a whole and Israelis are always edgy from Arab attackers, ever since 1920’s massacres on the Jews in Israel/Palestine.

As Israel is and always was under threat upon its existence, it mobilizes force, understandably, to the gullible eye it might look like the goliath is Israel, when it’s never the case in reality.

An inhumane Arab bomber hiding under its kids’ shoulders presents a far greater danger than the restrained Israeli hesitating to fire if a non-combatant is able to get hurt, this explains why the casualties are not in the thousands each time humane Israel conducts an anti terror-war operation.

The famous fact of terrorizing journalists by Arab “Palestinians” have forced all that are in [or all those wishing to gain access to] their area to be biased.

And so, Arabs, as the real Goliath, masked as poor-poor people have been managing the HRW organizations to report in a total Arabist way, condemning Israel based on unreliable sources, hardly condemning the Arabs for their constant real human rights abuse upon it’s kids and on Israeli victims of Arab terror.

NGO Monitor’s 2007 Report on HRW: Bias and Double Standards Continue

April 29, 2008

The following analysis demonstrates that HRW’s own activities related to Israel continue to fall short of this basic standard of universality

Summary:

* Analysis of Human Rights Watch’s use of the rhetoric of international law and other terminology shows continued double standards and misleading or false claims.

* HRW accuses Israel of “collective punishment” of Palestinians in a way that is inconsistent with both international law and past and present usage of the term by HRW itself.

* HRW’s focus on Israel in 2007 dropped to 2005 levels after 2006 marked a return to the extreme bias of the 2000-2004 period. The change in 2007 allowed more resources to be focused on countries committing major human rights violations.

* However, disproportionate emphasis on Israel continued, with major reports covering 400 pages in 2007, using the same methodologies as in 2006 that lack credibility.

* This contrasts with the limited attention on human rights violations in Libya, Syria, and other countries in the region.

* Israel was the focus of more multimedia items (audio, video, graphics) than any other country in the region.

* Reports on Israel continue to be based on unverifiable evidence provided by “eyewitnesses,” selected journalists, and other inappropriate sources. In some cases hard evidence has shown this testimony to be blatantly untrue.

* HRW mentioned one or more of the kidnapped Israeli soldiers in a total of only 6 publications. Of these, only two refer to them by name; the other references are in passing.

Amnesty is a Travesty

One would have thought that after so many heinous acts, Amnesty International, which claims to be “Protecting Human Rights Around the World”, would have issued 16 reports condemning each and every one of these terrible acts of Palestinian terrorism. In fact, AI issued only one report and even though it pertained to the Park Hotel slaughter, the heading “Deliberate Killing of Civilians is Never Justified” was pretty benign and totally belied the atrocity of this appalling act. The three short paragraphs was almost non-committal. While apparently recognizing the massacre as “a grave breach of the fundamental principle of international humanitarian law”, Amnesty then refuse to call Hamas a terrorist organization, but made a pathetic plea to “armed Palestinian groups” to cease killing civilians.

There couldn’t be a more perfect timeDec 10, 2006 3:18

Today, December 10, marks International Human Rights Day, and the presence in Israel of Irene Khan, head of Amnesty International, highlights the demise of once-lofty goals. Amnesty International is a superpower with an annual budget of almost $200 million, used to promote radical political agendas and photo-ops for its leaders.

Amnesty International Secretary-General Irene Khan, right, tours a house damaged last month by IAF shelling during a visit to Beit Hanun, in the northern Gaza Strip, Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006. Khan is leading a mission to Israel, the West Bank and Gaza to discuss human rights issues.

Photo: AP , AP

As a result, little remains of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted in the shadow of the Holocaust. Officials of Amnesty and other non-governmental organizations focus their attacks on democracies attempting to defend against terror, with far fewer resources to oppose totalitarian and genocidal regimes such as Sudan and Iran.

The silence of Khan and other officials regarding the human rights of the Israeli soldiers kidnapped by Palestinians and by Hizbullah, and the human rights of Ron Arad, is damning. Amnesty and HRW (founded as Helsinki Watch) gained their legitimacy by campaigning on behalf of political prisoners, including Natan (then Anatoly) Sharansky. Genuine human rights groups would be leading the campaigns to win the freedom of Israeli prisoners held by terrorists.

THE HYPOCRISY and political bias of these NGOs, in collaboration with the United Nations Human Rights Council, is particularly blatant in the case of Israel. Amnesty, Human Rights Watch (HRW), Christian Aid (UK), and pro-Palestinian partners actively implement the 2001 Durban agenda using the rhetoric of human rights to demonize Israel. Adopting the version of history starting with “Israeli occupation,” these groups advance an ideology that presents Arabs as victims and Israelis as aggressors.

The war between Hizbullah and Israel produced another wave in which defensive actions were automatically condemned as “war crimes,” “collective punishment” or violations of international law. Amnesty and HRW together issued dozens of press releases, almost all of which focused on allegations against Israel. Without providing criteria, Amnesty statements declared that the Israeli strikes in Beirut were “grossly disproportionate,” while acknowledging this was where “Hizbullah had its headquarters,” directing the firing of thousands of rockets against Israel.

No one seemed to notice the logical disconnect.

THE “DISCOVERY” of Hizbullah’s cluster bombs and human shields came weeks or months later. In another surreal statement demonstrating their detachment from reality, Amnesty officials observed that “No investigation into violations of international humanitarian law by Hizbullah is known to have been conducted by Hizbullah commanders….”

The NGOs that dominate the human rights discourse also feed journalists and diplomats with false or unverifiable claims. Their reports are based on “eyewitness testimony,” such as by Palestinians in Gaza and Lebanese in areas controlled by Hizbullah.

During the recent war, HRW and Amnesty claimed to have found no evidence of Hizbullah activities in the areas struck by Israel. There is no reason to conclude that these “researchers” and “military experts” bothered to check the allegiance and credibility of their sources. But HRW’s 49-page report – the largest PR effort during the war – enntitled “Fatal Strikes: Israel’s Indiscriminate Attacks Against Civilians in Lebanon,” was headlined without question by journalists around the world.

IN ADDITION, the European Union and its member states fund many groups that also use the language of human rights to promote conflict and demonization of Israel. The grandly named Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EMHRN) issued a torrent of political statements and one-sided condemnations during the Lebanon War. Other EU-supported “human rights” groups campaign against Israel’s security barrier, with terms such as “apartheid wall” and call for boycotts, sanctions and other measures that are part of the political war.

Some of these NGOs refer to “resistance” and “martyrdom” operations against “Israel Occupation Forces,” meaning terror attacks and suicide bombers that have killed hundreds of Israeli civilians.

In this way, European governments, including Switzerland and Norway, are contributing to the destruction of human rights based on universal principles, and undermining peace efforts they claim to promote.

This moral decay is also evident in the activities of the newly reformed United Nations Human Rights Council, which has focused on gratuitous Israel-bashing. The pseudo-reform process was strongly supported by the NGO network, which criticized the US and Israel for warning that the new UNHRC was no better than the old, discredited version.

IT WAS ONLY after the activities of the new UNHRC brought the use of double-standards to record levels that these human rights NGOs finally began speaking out against the abuse. (HRW’s recent criticism of the Palestinian use of human shields to protect terrorists was attacked by fringe groups seeking to paint this illegal practice as non-violent protest.)

To reverse course, and restore the credibility, universality and substance of human rights the credibility and accountability of groups like Amnesty and Human Rights Watch must also be restored. Ideology and political preferences can no longer dominate their agendas and publications, and human rights cannot use double standards which punish democracies and reward dictatorships.

Ethical norms must be freed from political and ideological agendas, particularly when these are used by those who declare the goal of “wiping Israel off the map.” International Human Rights Day is an appropriate time to start.

Gaza Anomalies Blow PCP’s Circuits: Result – The Sounds of Silence

August 4, 2008

A few friends of mine went to a party in Jerusalem that was primarily made up Anglophone reporters, people who work for NGOs and UN agencies. What amazed them was the pervasive sense of the people they met and spoke with that Israel was the greatest human rights violator in the world and that the dismantling of Israel would be a great step forward for global human rights.

Now the idiocy of this position, the suicidal nature of this strategy to advance human rights is nothing short of breathtaking. Take Israel out of the Middle East and the region becomes nothing but Hama rules… especially when the nastiest people — those who want to destroy Israel — would feel empowered by such a victory. But try and tell that to people who are smart enough to believe they can’t be wrong, and credulous enough to believe the demopaths who pull their chains on a daily basis. And as a result, they are prime targets for a hate campaign against Israel.

The latest news from Gaza, Israel, and the West Bank illustrates all the anomalies involved in this fundamental failure of the “human rights” community to understand what’s going on: black hearts and red spades galore. Melanie Phillips has a superb column which analyzes the current, mind-boggling situation in the Arab-Israeli conflict, with the Fatah “refugees” from Gaza seeking asylum in Israel.

Refugees From Whom?

The Spectator MONDAY, 4TH AUGUST 2008

Melanie Phillips

Extraordinary developments in Gaza have given a new meaning to the term ‘Palestinian refugees’. As the Jerusalem Post reports, fierce fighting in Gaza between Fatah and Hamas over the weekend, in which 11 people died and dozens more were wounded, resulted in 180 Fatah refugees fleeing from what they called a ‘war of genocide’ by Hamas against Fatah supporters. And where did they flee to? Why, to Israel, of course — which allowed them in and proceeded to treat 23 of them (some of whom were wounded by the Israeli army after they approached the crossing into Israel) in Israeli hospitals.

This is one of the most important anomalies for those who follow the current PCP narrative about the Middle East in which Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people explain the ferocious hatred of the Palestinians for the Israelis. According to that version of events — largely the one that liberals have taken over by adopting the Palestinian narrative of suffering — the last place these Palestinian “warriors” would go was Israel, their mortal enemy who is trying to commit genocide against their people. If the Israelis want to wipe out Palestinian civilians, how much the more would they want to kill Palestinian “militants”?

And yet, this is not a new story. When King Hussein, “the moderate,” found himself dealing with a restive Palestinian population in 1970, he slaughtered some 10,000 of them — men, women and children — in “Black September.” The Palestinians fled his tender mercies across the Jordan to Israel where the Israelis, obligingly, shipped them over to Lebanon, where, within five years, they plunged that unhappy land into a seven-year war that killed over 100,000 civilians. When Israel finally put an end to that civil war by invading in 1982, and the Phalanage took advantage of their upper hand to slaughter several hundred Palestinians at Sabra and Shatilla in revenge for Damur, the terrified inhabitants of the camps ran immediately to the Israeli positions outside the camp for protection. Why? Because they knew, despite all the “narratives” that when the chips are down, you can expect more mercy from the Jews than your fellow Arabs.

These are revelatory moments, when you see not the “public transcript” but what people really think. In honor-shame cultures they can be deeply embarrassing, since the public transcript is the “honorable” one, and the revelations that reverse that — like in the story of the Emperor’s New Clothes — are almost by definition shameful. Participants might prefer not to remember these, might even seek to reverse them by insisting still more shrilly on the original “narrative.” But outsiders need to pay close attention, because these rare moments are infinitely more revealing than the “public transcript.”

These refugees say they cannot return to Gaza because they will be killed. How fortunate, therefore, that their own Fatah leader, Mahmoud Abbas, can give them sanctuary in the West Bank!

But hang on – Abbas won’t let them in. Yup, with the exception of five individuals whom he did allow in, he’s denied them all sanctuary. He says they should go back to Gaza.

Before we get into the explanations proferred, let me make a medievalist’s remark. This is a staggering act of cowardice. Any warlord has to protect his men above all. If he fails to do so, he loses their loyalty. To refuse safety to men who have suffered from their adherence to your banner — unless it was their fault — shows your weakness.

And the invaluable Khaled abu Toameh tells us the reason why:

PA officials explained that the reason behind their refusal to absorb the new ‘refugees’ was their desire not to encourage other residents of the Gaza Strip to leave. ‘Everyone knows that if we allow people to leave the Gaza Strip, almost all the residents living there would try to cross the border into Israel,’ said a senior PA official.

As part of evaluating the competitive landscape of the popularity of nations, in a process referred to in marketing circles as ´place branding,´ Israel, to no one´s great surprise, comes up short in brand likeability, ranking last out of 35 nations included in an August 2006 survey conducted by nation branding expert Simon Anholt, even less attractive to respondents than Indonesia, Estonia, and Turkey.

How could this have happened to a country that is the Middle East´s only thriving democracy and enjoys a remarkably robust economy that has spawned some 1000 startup high tech companies, for example, second only to the U.S.? How, in short, would you go about making the world hate Israel?

This is how you would accomplish that objective if you were an enemy of Israel:

Even after 60 years of its existence, you question the fundamental right of Israel to even exist and regularly, though falsely, condemn it for being created “illegally”—through the “theft” of Palestinian lands and property—and thus decide, because of its original sin, it has no “right to exist.” You accuse the government of a “brutal,” illegal “occupation” of Palestinian lands, especially Gaza and the West Bank (but for many, all of Israel), of being a “colonial settler state,” a Zionist “regime” or “project,” a land-hungry nation, a usurper of property that was lived on and owned by a Palestinian “people” “from time immemorial.”

You describe the very existence of the country as being the “greatest threat to world peace,” the core cause of all Muslim anger toward the West, the root of all of the Palestinians´ suffering and economic plight, and describe Israel as a nation that has even been referred to publicly as a “shitty little country” by the French ambassador to Britain.

You make ´Palestinianism´ into a virtual cult whose members offer a world-wide reverence for the Palestinian cause and repeat without end that their nationalistic striving is inviolable, a basic human right, Of all the 100 million refugees who were dispersed around the globe and were re-assimilated since World War II, you chose only the Palestinians to languish, as if in amber, in barbaric refugee camps where their lives are used as political fodder to denounce the existence of an Israel that supposedly has deprived them of a home.

You have the United Nations set up an agency whose sole function it is to make sure that this one group of refugees in the whole world are coddled, advocated for, and repeat, mantra-like, that a human “right of return” has been sanctified and assured by international law for the Palestinians, giving only this group of refugees a collective, as opposed to individual, right of return—and not only to those refugees who supposedly lived in and left what is now Israel, but all of their descendents, as well.

You use the General Assembly and the Human Rights Council of the United Nations to further demonize and delegitimate Israel, making it a pariah in the world community and issuing an edict that equates Zionism with racism. In 2006-07, if you are the Human Rights Council, you pass one hundred percent of your condemnatory resolutions against Israel.

If you are the autocratic, despotic states of the Arab world, you initiate a prolonged, unceasing propaganda war against Israel and Zionism, in which it is your intention to encourage your citizens, not to question why they live under tyranny and despair under their own corrupt, defective governments, but that their circumstances are bleak because of the success and very existence of Israel. You depict Jews as apes, pigs, and subhuman monsters, and regularly produce Nazi-like propaganda and cartoons in your state-owned media that accuses Jews and Israelis of blood libels, bloodthirstiness, militarism, a desire for world domination, imperialism, and complicity with the U.S. and the West to destroy Islam—all which make Jew-hatred inevitable.

You inculcate Palestinian children, nearly from birth, with seething, blind, unrelenting, and obsessive hatred of Jews and the ‘Zionist regime,’ so that kindergartners graduate with blood-soaked hands while toting plastic AK 47s and dedicate their lives to jihad, and older children are recruited to hide explosives on their bodies to transform themselves into shahids — a new generation of kindling for radical Islam’s cult of death.

When Israel launches a military strike against nests of terrorists or in response to ceaseless rocket barrages, you term their response “disproportionate,” another escalation in the “cycle of violence,” a violation of human rights, aggressive, militaristic, with Apache gunships “pounding” terrorist neighborhoods. Whenever you refer to any attack on Israel by terrorists, or the barrage of thousands of rockets that have rained down on Israel towns for two years from inside Gaza, you characterize them as innocuous, carried out with “crude, homemade, rockets,” in order to gloss over their actual lethality.

If you are the Palestinian media, and members of the world media who are either intentionally biased or willing to be duped by anti-Israel propaganda, you repeatedly report on supposed Israeli human rights violations, such as an alleged “massacre of the 21st century,” a horrible war crime and example of “genocide” committed by Israel against Palestinians in the village of Jenin.

You talk about the Israeli security barrier as an “apartheid wall,” and describe it as a massive, soaring, unbroken division through Palestinian neighborhoods and communities, overlooking the fact that the wall is towering and solid concrete only in those regions that have been repeatedly assaulted by terrorism, and that 90 percent of the hundreds of miles of barrier is comprised merely of wire fence.

You use the “apartheid wall” image to create a broader misconception about the Palestinians living under a South African-style apartheid regime, disingenuously equating race restrictions that blacks lived under in Soweto with the open society of Israel in which Israeli Arabs have more rights than in any Arab state and are asked only not to murder Jews in their midst.

On campuses where a coddled and insulated professoriate often express antipathy for the perceived ills of capitalism, the usurpation of “Palestine” by Israel, “land grabs” through occupation, and the denial of the civil and economic rights of the Palestinians, you contend that Israel´s very existence is not at all about self-determination (something you deem appropriate only for the Palestinians) and all about greed, globalism, colonialism, exploitation, and undeserved political and economic might. No longer able to fight apartheid in South Africa, you now try to transmogrify that racist social system onto Israel, holding rallies and encouraging the signing of petitions which call from divestiture from companies doing business in Israel.

You fund Middle Eastern Studies centers on university campuses and use them as anti-Israel, anti-American “think tanks” where scholarship is tainted with ideology and singularly focused on the Palestinian cause. You fund the active and vocal Muslim Students Association on campuses across the country that hold “Israel Apartheid Week” and “Holocaust in the Holy Land” festivals at which propaganda, Jew-hatred, apologies for terrorism, and further demonizing of Israel takes place.

In the Arab world, you play fast and loose with history in your attempt to create a historical narrative conforming to your own political agenda, erasing any link between Palestine and the Jews. Though Jerusalem is mentioned not once in the Koran and over 669 times in the Jewish Bible, you claim that Jerusalem is now the “third holiest site to Muslims,” that, as Yasser Arafat announced at Camp David in 2000, the Temple Mount was never a Jewish site, that Jews now “occupy” Muslim lands, and that the archeological and historical evidence that confirms an uninterrupted 3000-year presence by Jews in the Holy Land is merely a “construct,” yet another lie promulgated by Israeli historians and archeologists as way of erasing and obscuring an Islamic past.

If you are in the Muslim world or the netherworld of Jew-haters, you question the actual extent and truthfulness of the Holocaust, first complaining that the Palestinians should not have been made to suffer the loss of their homeland because of the German´s extermination of European Jewry—leading in some part to the creation of Israel—and then at other times questioning whether the Holocaust even occurred and accusing Zionists of using the fictitious event as a way to falsely extract sympathy from the world community and force them into giving Palestine away to the Jews.

If you are in the traditionally Arabist U.S. State Department, or in the “realist” school of diplomacy, or part of the European Union, and you have an insatiable need for oil, you overlook the tyrannies and unfaithfulness of our Middle Eastern “friends,” and ask nothing of them, but demand that Israel, the only democracy in a sea of despotism, continually prove its loyalty to us and embrace policies that could potentially threaten their own security. You write academic books questioning the strength of the “Israel Lobby,” and wonder out loud if Jewish influence and wealth forces us to lose credibility and threaten our national security on behalf of Israel.

You do all of these things, as part of a concerted effort and also as random, independent efforts on the part of Israel´s enemies, and you do it for the 60 years of Israel´s existence, and then you are shocked, shocked, when Israel is shown to rank unfavorably in surveys which measure the public´s perception of nations and how they compare to one another in the world community. But you are pleased, because you know that if Israel cannot be annihilated with armaments and rockets, perhaps you can make it cease to exist simply by making the entire world loathe it for being what it is.

U.N., Hamas are blaming Israel for Palestinians’ self-inflicted problems

February 20, 2008

U.N., Hamas are blaming Israel for
Palestinians’ self-inflicted problems

By Ira Sharkansky

JERUSALEM—What else is new?

John Holmes, the United Nations Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs indicated he was shocked by a “grim and miserable” situation he found in Gaza. He traced it to Israel’s closing of the borders, and allowing in limited supplies of food, fuel, and other goods.

Holmes said that only 10 percent of the previous flow of goods was going into Gaza. ” . . . people are not able to live with the basic dignity to which they are entitled . . . what is essentially needed is an opening of the crossings, a lot more goods coming in.”

If Holmes’ views accomplish anything, they are likely to add to Palestinian misery. The United Nations already feeds more than 80 percent of Gazan residents. This is not a new program reflecting current miseries, but represents an activity that has been going on since 1950. It is a large part of Palestinian dependence, and their refusal or inability to deal with what happened to them six decades ago.

The visit did not set the region on its toes. The Jerusalem Post published a story of about 450 words in length. I found no reference to the visit in Hebrew-language papers with much larger circulation. Israel’s government spokesman did not exactly grovel at the claims of the Undersecretary-General. He said an improvement depended on an end to rocket fire. “If terrorists in Gaza were to cease firing rockets into Israel, trying to kill our people, the situation could very quickly return to where it was,”

The Post indicated that Holmes was scheduled to visit Sderot. So far no news about his impressions there.

Outside of Israel the noise was not much greater. The Washington Post had a brief article, shorter than that in the Jerusalem Post. The New York Times seems to have avoided it altogether. If there was anything in the internet edition of Al Jazeera, I could not find it. The BBC web site reproduced a story virtually identical to that in the Jerusalem Post, but without mentioning Holmes’ plans to visit Sderot.

More prominent than the visit of the man from UN  with an elaborate title is news about an explosion in Gaza that killed a key operative of Islamic Jihad and five of his family members, and injured more than 40 others. While some Palestinians are claiming that the explosion resulted from a missile fired by the Israeli Air Force, the IDF has denied conducting any operations in the area. Hamas own police are saying that the cause of the explosion was unclear, and that it may have been a “work accident” (i.e., caused by someone who did not know how to handle munitions).

Islamic Jihad has promised retaliation. So this may join the list of self-inflicted wounds used to justify yet another barrage of rockets aimed at Israel. We will have to see how many of those explode on the way to the launching site, or fail to reach Israel and land on a Palestinian.

The tragedy that links the dismal proclamation of the UN official and the explosion in a Palestinian workshop is insistence on blaming Israel for Palestinian suffering. Their self-assigned fate is to be an international basket case. Thanks to the weight of Muslim countries in international forums, there is a bit of food in the basket, and no end of visiting dignitaries who cluck their tongues and speak about misery. There can be no national dignity or a functioning state until Palestinians can take responsibility for themselves, and throw away the beggar’s bowl.

KURDS VS ARAB ‘PALESTINIANS’ – IT PAYS TO BE AN ILLEGITIMATE & MURDEROUS “PALESTINIAN” THAN TO BE A LEGITIMATE PEACEFUL KURD

KURDS VS ARAB ‘PALESTINIANS’
IT PAYS TO BE AN ILLEGITIMATE & MURDEROUS “PALESTINIAN” THAN TO BE A LEGITIMATE PEACEFUL KURD

Dec. 2007

As the world’s about to give yet another state [Jordan ain’t enough?] for the [group of immigrant Arabs into Israel that call themselves as] “Palestinians”, that have never behaved and do not merely fight for a ‘homeland’ which Israel was never theirs anyhow, but have their goal of eliminating Israel, ethnic cleansing and racist genocide, the poor Kurds still sink under oppression by Turkey, by Arab racism in: Syria, Iraq, and by Islamic fascists regime of Iran.

Let’s make it clear, even if there will be a “Palestine” state, it will never change the factual history, that a group of immigrants came into the land of the Jews and hijacked the world comunity via terrorism and Arab oil power to give them yet a second ‘Palestine’ state (after Jordan).

THE KURDS
REAL PEOPLE, WITH REAL ASPIRATION OF A DESERVING HOMELAND – THE LEGITIMATE
VICTIMS OF OPPRESSION & ARAB RACISM

Hiding Arab Racism, May 1, 2005 By Adel MakhoulThis book, like Culture and Imperialism, is essentially about Western prejudice against Islam. Said condemns intellectuals in the West who in his eyes are “agents of exploitation”. Yet Said himself is an agent of racism: Arab Racism.

A Pan Arabist, he always supported Arab unity and “Islam” at the expense of non-Arab and non-Moslem peoples. Said directs and manipulates the Western taste for self criticim, and all that does is deflect the world’s attention from Arab and Moslem attrocities committed against Christians, Kurds, Jews, Israelis, Coptic Christians, non-Arab Sudanese, etc.

Thus, reading Said, you would never realize that Sadam Hussein’s poisoning of the Kurds has never been condemned by one Arab intellectual or leader. This is because a racist prevalent attitude in the Arab mind is that the entire Middle East should be Arab. This also explains the attitude towards Israel, a country that is predominantly non-Moslem and speaks a Middle Eastern language other than Arabic.

The pity is that Said himself is a Christian, yet he never spoke on behalf of Coptic Christians in Egypt, or the right of Christians to practice their faith in Saudi Arabia and probably other places in the Arab World. He is facilitating the overall aim of PanArab Nationalists by distracting the West from what is happening in the Arab world.

For a better understanding of relations between the West and Islam, I recommend books by Bernard Lewis, such as “The Moslem Discovery of Europe” and the “Jews of Islam”. I also recommend books by the Egyptian scholar and Jewish refugee Yael Bat Yeor, such as “The Dhimmi”.

Erasing Ethnic Identity.Syrian Kurds were banned from giving their children names reflecting their ethnic identity.Pary Karadaghi, Director of Kurdish Human Rights Watch in Washington, says one of the most basic ways of showing Kurdish identity was taken away. “The campaign of ‘Arabization’ actually replaced the Kurdish names,” she says. “People could not have Kurdish names on cities, buildings [and] businesses. Children’s names could not be Kurdish.”

Syria’s Kurds struggled for years to survive despite government oppression on many fronts. They closely watched their Iraqi counterparts, who achieved a measure of autonomy in the 1990s, and pressed Damascus for their own rights. Their demands were ignored or sometimes met with waves of repression. http://www.khrw.org/advocate/2005/syrias_kurds_struggle_for_rights.htm

1) A Summit based on Arabist false language. 2) Is Israel’s survival on the table?

Re: ILLEGAL Arab “Palestinians” have semantics

Let’s see, those Arab immigrants grandchildren, the so called “Palestinians”, don’t really pay much for their parents/grandparents, and their own crimes of initiating attacks on little Israel with a clear attempt of annihilation (What “occupation”? what was their plan in 1929, 1948, and all those years priort to 1967? and why are most attacks on innocent unarmed Israelis in: Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Netanya, Haifa, etc.?) So basically, they are back at square one, when the ILLEGAL Arab “Palestinians” refused the UN offer of a two states solution.

Now they have all the “moral” language all of a sudden? They can sing all day ñlong the fake excuse for the so called “occupation”, and Israel can’t even cry for it’s survival from Islamic Arab racist terrorism and genocide plans?

Foreign policy – But we were told that the Arabs hate us because of supposedly being biased against Arab “Palestinians”… – Propagandists’ “Palestinian” card, How much is it really worth?

November 26, 2007

But we were told that the Arabs hate us because of supposedly being biased against Arab “Palestinians”…

Nov/2007
REMEMBER?

Wild Arabist writers/”activists” have been flooding us for years with brainwashing nonsense as if the Arab Muslim world is “enraged” mainly by the “Palestinian” Israeli conflict.

If only… — this is what they have been selling us for so many years — if only we’d be on the side of the “palestinian” Arabs, all would be singing kumbaya, the “peace loving” Arab world would just come rushing to embrace us.
LIARS!

Never mind the blatant daring hypocrisy of that Arab world, that never really cared about the Arab “Palestinian” brothers, on the contrary, it never allowed any improvement in their status, for fear of losing that anti-west card, (shoved at the westerners ever so often) of: “look at the poor ‘Palestinians'”.

The Arab nations keep the ‘Palestinians’ and their descendants in squalor. They are denied citizenship rights. They are denied work. They are denied property. They are denied their human rights because they are and always will be a political football in the Arab campaign against Israel.
http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=36412

The same vicious historic crimes, the Arab world leaders have been committing with this group of Arabs who call themselves (recently as) “Palestinians”, as in 1948, chasing them out with bragging promises of [ethnic cleansing and genocide] “throwing all the Jews into the sea”.

Even Jew haters “aryans-supremacists” have jumped the bashing-Israel wagon, oh no, not that they ever like the Arab BROWN “inferior” people, of course not! they’d like to get “rid” of them… as soon as possible, But for the time being, it can be used against the people they are so bitter jealous and hate so blindly, the Jews.
NOW WHAT?

So the US has already helped in Israel’s giving away Gaza to the Arab “Palestinians” [2005], an enormous sacrifice, uprooting entire families, communities, exposing and diminishing the little borderline with an enemy that is bent on eliminating Israel 24/7, when the only thing Israel got back is more support among their mainstream for Hamas type of advocating Genocide, still militants firing rockets into Israeli residential homes, still attempts of ‘genocide bombings’.
Where do Arabs stand in its anti-west, as well as in its use of the “Palestinian” propaganda card? Is it the same, better or worse?

So Israel has released hundreds of dangerous “Palestinian” terrorists, out of good will, how do “Palestinians” react? More demands, Qassam missiles aimed at Israeli kindergartens are still on, why not?
Where do Arabs stand in its anti-west, as well as in its use of the ‘Palestinian’ propaganda card? Is it the same, better or worse?

Annapolis 2007: President George W. Bush and Sec. Condoleeza Rice are pushing hard on Israel to give even more to Arabs that never manage to make one iota of investing in peace, not even reducing its media’s demon-ization of Israel.
Where do Arabs stand in its anti-west, as well as in its use of the ‘Palestinian’ propaganda card? Is it the same, better or worse?

IDF Concerned Hamas May Detonate Tunnels to Derail Summit
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/124358

And what if… Bush succeeds in a big historic push for Arab “Palestinians” sake/favor (a group of people that never wanted to be improved, that has chosen death cult over life at any given opportunity by kind Israelis)? But we were told that the Arabs hate us because of supposedly being biased against Arab “Palestinians”…

Try this:
How many Arabists will welcome any improvement in relations among Arabs & Israel?
OK, ENOUGH OF THE NONSENSE FOR SO LONG, NOW, TO THE PROBLEM/S

But don’t bet on Arabists ever to bother using real logical questions, the REAL ISSUES to be brought up, like, Are the Arabs, Muslims ready yet for democracy & free societies, have tnheir mainstream education in mosques & madsassas really strat to change? Is all of their media began to be less hateful of the “other”?

As you won’t expect any true points, matters that matter to be discussed, as they don’t sit well with their propaganda.

Even though it will answer all above points, plus: Iraq war, Lebanon, and other Arab on Arab, Muslim on Muslim violence.

Biased CNN’s Angry bitter-lemon Muslim face of the ‘YouTube – Republican debate’

November 18, 2007

Biased CNN’s Angry bitter-lemon Muslim face of the ‘YouTube – Republican debate’.

From http://lightonthings.blogspot.com

If you thought that the ‘Christianne Amanpour’ trend of
belittling radical Islam menace on the entire world via some cheap ‘journalism’
of 100% inaccuracy in her infamous refuted “God’s warriors’, where she distorts
and lies on other faiths, in order to equalize others to the only real danger
the globe faces today, which is of course, not Buddhist, Christian, Jewish,
Shinto, but [extreme] Islam.

At CNN’s advertisement ahead of the Republican debates it
CHOOSE by no accident an Arab Muslim young woman covered with a Muslim scarf
asking: “If you were president, What would you do to repair the image of
America”?

Coming from a person of a culture that hates the west
especially the powerful in the west and the bastion of freedom such as US, UK,
Australia, etc. it was very odd to see the “most trusted name in news” to pick
up such an un-average American “point of view”, worse there is no secret behind
such a line, a Muslim typical propaganda as if “being liked by the Muslim world
is in US hands”….

Unless you see CNN for what it is, a worsening media as
nothing but on the Arabist side. Do not overlook the Arab money grip control,
like the Dubai “sponsorship” of CNN.

If I were to answer to that propaganda piece by that
Muslim woman, even with an effort of the best PC I’d still
answer:

Let’s see, for years, you, the Arab Muslim world have
been trying to sell to is that your grievances are mainly because of the
“palestinian” -Israel issue, hmm, President George W. Bush is the most pro
“Palestinian” president ever, the one that has pushed for an independent state,
practically an unprecedented historic gift, for this group of grandchildren of
mostly Arab immigrants into the historic land of the Jews.

So where do the Arab “Palestinians” or the Arab world as
a whole stand in its “likeness” of the US?

Did the Arab Muslim world like us better when we the US
have interfered to save Kuwaiti Arabs ass, or Bosnian Muslims
ass?

Well, maybe the ball is exclusively in your hands, in
your hate education, in your Mosques, in your mainstream media?

Maybe this “why do we hate you” is a convenient card to
take as much as you can from the US, and still demand more without every
reducing their hatred for the powerful infidel?

Well, I for one just replace the word “maybe”, for
SURE.
