IRON DOME, acting on the usual: Muslim Arab-Palestinians target civilians, Israel defends

“Palestinians” in Gaza began (again) a barrage of [about 120] missiles upon Israeli towns, targeting civilians. Israel uses ‘Iron Dome‘ defense system.

Gantz: IDF will continue to respond forcefully, sensitively [Ynetnews]
Published: 03.11.12, 13:25 / Israel News

IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Benny Gantz said: “Zuhir al-Qaisi and other terrorists killed were involved in planning a deadly terror attack against Israeli civilians, which was suppose to come out of Gaza through Sinai.”

“Over 120 rockets have been fired at Israel and 20% of them could have caused death and distruction within the Israeli populations. They were interceted by the Iron Dome. The IDF responded and will continue to do so with force and sensitivity over any attack on Israel. We are not interested in escalation, but Hamas is the sovereign,” Gantz added. (Yoav Zitun)

Israel under fire: Schools closed in south due to rockets – Israel TodayIsrael under fire: Schools closed in south due to rockets
Sunday, March 11, 2012 | Ryan Jones

Some 200,000 Israeli children throughout southern Israel spent Sunday hiding in bomb shelters instead of going to school as Gaza-based Palestinian terrorists continued pouring missiles and mortars into the area.

By midday Sunday, some 130 projectiles had been fired at communities across the western Negev region over a 48-hour period. At least two dozen Israelis have been injured, some seriously.

Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile system has managed to intercept 28 out of 31 of the more dangerous Grad-type missiles, but simply cannot provide a comprehensive shield against such an onslaught.

1922-2012 90 Years to first Arab racist anti-Jewish boycott

February 22, 2012

1922-2012 90 Years to first Arab racist anti-Jewish boycott

The current bigoted anti-Israel boycotts, are NOT related to any “policies.” It began many years before Israel was re-established, in 1922. It was pushed mainly by the infamous Mufti Haj amin al-Husseini, who allied himself with Hitler later on.

Authors:

Economic warfare is an essential component of total war; anti-Semitism is the ideological concomitant of the Arabs’ total war against the Jewish state.

Anti-Semitism imbues this economic war with hatreds which have historic roots within the Arab world; it is an endemic feature of the boycott, despite the Arab claim that they have a quarrel only with “Zionists,” not with Jews.
[…] A call went out in 1922 from the Fifth Arab Congress, meeting in Nablus, for all Arabs to boycott Jewish businesses; seven years later, the First Palestine Arab Women’s Congress asked “every Arab to buy nothing from the Jews but land, and to sell them everything but land.”
Other, similar calls went out in 1931 and 1933, and in 1936 a boycott of all Jewish products was proclaimed by Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti and spiritual leader of all Moslems. This was the forerunner of today’s Arab Trade Boycott.

Terence Prittie, Walter Henry Nelson, Ter The economic war against the Jews (Secker & Warburg, 1978, 269 pp.) p. 4, p. 9

In March and April 1933, The Mufti, praised Nazi Germany’s anti-Jewish treatment, especially the boycotts.

Current organizers of anti-Israel boycotts (like, BDS, Anti-Semitism’s New Face,” the movement to “isolate Israel as part of their program to destroy Israel”, PHAS-Anti-Semitic Motifs in Anti-Israelism have been exposed, and as US offical says Yes, the Boycott of Israel Is Anti-Semitic and as celebrated Italian writer says the boycott ‘is “a form of racism.”‘ Demonizing unfairly, blatantly maliciously lying obessively about the 100% democratic victim-Israel fighting off a constant existential threat since the 1920s and beyond, is bigotry, not “legitimate criticism.”) ‘market’ their racism with the false cover of “anti-racism,” and using the outrageous “apartheid slur,” which was invented in 1961 by the Mufti’s henchman Ahmad Ahukairy, who allied hismelf with Nazi groups in 1962 and is known for coining the genocide phrase ‘throw the Jews into the sea,’ in 1967, called Shukairy’s slogan.

ISRAEL – GOOD VS EVIL JIHAD – CULTURE OF LIFE VS CULT OF DEATH

October 18, 2011

ISRAEL – GOOD VS EVIL JIHAD

CULTURE OF LIFE VS CULT OF DEATH

Oct/18/2011

Young Israeli, Gilad Shalit was released by the Islamists captors, in exchange for over 1,000 Arab-Muslims bent on killing Israeli civilians.

The life of one single Israeli Jew.

What the ‘for life’ culture is willing to sacrifice Vs the ‘cult-of-death,’ who sees an Arab woman’s womb as the “greatest weapon…” Who loves “death as much as” we “love life.”

While Israeli soldiers who are trained to practice restraint against those who announce/practice their attempted annihilation of every Jew in the region, the Arab-Islamic opponent through its “death factories,” does every trick in the book to cause civilian casualties, sacrificing its women and children, for this “sacred’ cult-ish idea/ideology.

On top of it, Israeli hospitals treat the very Arabs who are initiating violence, the same Zionist entity who practices ‘affirmative action’ on its (more than) equal Arab -minority- citizens.

If this is not the epitome of ‘good vs. evil,’ what is?

DEATH FACTORIES

OpEdNews – Article: The Hamas Death Factory
January 17, 2009 By Ari Bussel
The focus of this article is on Hamas. Operation Cast Lead would not have been needed, and indeed can be stopped immediately, if Hamas, a terror organization that calls in its Charter to the destruction of the Jewish State, were to stop its efforts to attain this goal.
Hamas has turned Gaza into a Factory of Death. I highlight below some of the Factory’s main characteristics.
The war that rages on has its front lines in Argentina and UK,India and USA, China and Venezuela, Russia and Egypt. It is a war in the area of public opinion, and we are all soldiers in the Public Diplomacy Front.
We are all part   and are likely victims   in a greater struggle between Sunni and Shiite Islam to achieve world domination. Therefore, we need to understand the threat. Only then will we be able to search and find the wisdom and courage with which to fight, with which to prevail as a victor.

The 20th Day, a Recap and an Update
January 15th, 2009. Day 20 of Operation “Cast Lead,” Israel’s attempt at stopping the firing of rockets from Gaza to Israeli cities and preventing further armament of Hamas in Gaza.
To achieve these goals, the manufacturing infrastructure in Gaza had to be destroyed and the very intensive smuggling operation from Egypt into Gaza had to be stopped. The enormous caches of advanced rockets (improved Grad2 and others) must also be destroyed. They have a very long shelf life and will eventually be used against Israel.

There is yet another unstated goal: A 22 year old soldier has been held by Hamas in Gaza after being kidnapped from Israel on6/25/2006. Gilad Shalit is in enemy’s hands for 930 days. He is afforded no visitation rights. The International Red Cross has not been allowed to see him. Gilad is the human face of Israel’s promise to its mothers and fathers that their sons and daughters will always come back home  that Israel will do everything possible to uphold this promise…

Operation Cast Lead rages on in Gaza. 9AM in Israel and already more than ten rockets and mortars were fired from Gaza toward Israeli cities. 11 soldiers were wounded during the night’s operations during which 35 armed gunmen were hit, mostly in aerial attacks directed by ground forces.Israel’s Air Force (IAF) attacked approximately 70 terrorist sites, including a mosque in Rafah used to stockpile rockets and served as an assembly area for senior operatives involved in launching rockets; 14 cells of armed gunmen; 14 sites used to launch rockets and mortars at Israeli communities and cities; five weapon storage facilities located in, and one tunnel located under, houses of Hamas operatives.

A Real War

This is war, although not by name (since Gaza is not a country and Hamas is a terrorist operation). People die, needlessly. “Needlessly” since the war can be stopped as soon as Hamas stops firing and ends its race for rearmament. There is a third unstated pre-condition: Hamas needs to change it Charter that calls for the destruction of the Jewish State. But Hamas does not want to stop.
Hamas also could have released Gilad Shalit any any point during the last 930 days or during the period of regrouping (Tahadia) that preceded Operation Cast Lead, but it chose not to do so.
Instead, Hamas uses the 22 year old Israeli soldier in the most cynical way, teasing Israel constantly. Now he is alive, now he is no longer safe. Now we do not hear or see him, next who knows what may be. Hamas’s fellow Iranian crony in the region, Hizbollah, used Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, may they rest in peace, in a similar manner, finally trading in their body parts to force Israel to do the unthinkable releasing hundreds of terrorists, including one who for the pure barbaric joy of the act, smashed the skull of a four year old girl   just because she was Jewish, just because she was Israeli, JUST BECAUSE THERE IS ISRAEL.

The Hamas Death Factory

Hamas does not only trade in the hope of parents to see their 22 year old son back safely, it also exhumes bodies from recently dug graves to parade them for hours at a time on Al Jazeera “news” network and on the internet as “fresh casualties.” Hamas also constantly manufactures fresh dead bodies. This it does on both sides of the border firing rockets and mortar shells toward Israel to kill and maim as many people as possible, and firing from within high rise buildings, schools, hospitals and mosques, making sure to surround itself with civilians, so even with the utmost effort and consideration by Israel, they become casualties of war.

Hamas turned Gaza into a very sophisticated manufacturing facility of death. Every step is booby trapped, from buildings to chicken feed buckets. Tunnels are dug underneath to trap and kidnap soldiers as wellas to provide hiding and storage spaces. Sniper posts were erected near mosques. Ammunition and weaponry caches are stored in multi-story residential buildings. More than a million people act as a cover, an invisible protection for this Death Factory.

Hamas has taken the freedom away from the Gazans. It uses the Gazans who elected it into power as human shields whose life is to serve two purposes   to add to the fight against Israel in the front of public opinion and to ensure that their death is highlighted, paraded and used to brainwash tens of millions of new fighters and haters of Jews, Israel and the West. Hamas thus plays a major role in the advance of radical Islam toward global domination…
A Manufacturing Facility of Death, a trap both as a physic allocation (step through a door, the house will explode; come close to a fuel depot, the whole village will be incinerated; fire at a building from which rockets were launched and secondary explosions of ammunition stored will cause phosphorus burns or inflict even more pain and death) and as a PR stunt (shoot from the UN building or from the building where the Foreign Press is reporting, and the whole world will be angry at Israel).

This is not a video game. It is a real life (and death) situation in which the points add in the speed of light in favor of the main player: HAMAS. Hamas’s task is very easy: launch at Israel you win. Sacrifice your people you win. Improve the lives of your people? Hamas came into power since it-much like Hizbollah in the north-provided much needed social services, a support network to the local population. Yet,its schools and mosques served as indoctrination points, and the true purpose surfaced.

In the Manufacturing Facility of Death, there is no real interest to improve the lives of the Gazans. With the billions already spent and the billions now committed to the Gazans, one should ask oneself why is Gaza not the next Cannes-along-the-Mediterranean? Why is there no manufacturing (not of explosives and booby-traps and other death-related instruments),agriculture and science and technology?
Why are there still refugee camps with little if any infrastructure? What has the UN done over the past many decades when the palestinian refugees are its sole focus and reason for existence? Why has the Arab world not insisted on improving the lives of their fellow brethren theGazans and allowed instead the continued smuggling operation stockpiles of advanced weaponry, trained terrorists, Iranian experts in warfare into Gaza?

Do they know what it means to hear constantly, “You will die, you will be slaughtered, your women will be raped, your children torn to pieces, your house destroyed?”… For the average Israeli such a “nuance” between “moderates” and “extremists” is of no importance; for him it is of little relevance whether he is going to die immediately or later, since he acts on the principle that he has no intention of submitting to either now or in the future. Ten times a day one hears from Rabat to Karachi, “Israel must disappear from the face of the Earth! … We are told: “Leave the occupied territories and you will know peace.” And what about the peace of 1948, of 1952 and 1953 and of 1954 and 1955? Have the unfortunate people taken in the ambush that cost the lives of sixteen passengers in a bus in the Negev already been forgotten? And those killed in a grenade attack by Arab terrorist against Yemenite immigrants who were celebrating a marriage? At that time Israel occupied only the territories which many are now willing to consider as acceptable frontiers. That did not prevent the Arabs from threatening us. We are told that the Arabs have been humiliated. Is that Israel’s fault? Or rather is it not the fact that for twenty years the Arabs have erected a thought- structure constructed from…

Cairo Radio announced on May 25, for example, that “the Arab people is firmly resolved to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and to restore the honor of the Arabs of Palestine.” The next day Nasser made a speech to Arab trade unionists in which he stated that “the Arab people wants to fight. . . . Sharm al-Sheikh implies a confrontation with Israel.
Taking this step makes it imperative that we be ready to undertake a total war with Israel.” On May 28, Nasser told a press conference, “We will not accept any possibility of coexistence with Israel,” …
For example, the PLO’s Ahmad Shuqayri coined a famous phrase by asserting that the Arabs would throw the Jews into the sea. The president of Iraq expressed the same idea. On May 31 he stated, “The existence of Israel is an error which must be rectified. This is our opportunity to wipe out the ignominy which has been with us since 1948. Our goal is clear — to wipe Israel off the map.” That Israelis had heard such statements before only deepened their assurance that the Arab world was unwilling to accept the existence of the Jewish state and would, if possible, use the opportunities and crises of May 1967 to pursue an objective to which it had long been committed.

Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier who’s just been released after five years in a Palestinian jail, is relieved to be free. No wonder. To look at him now, compared with earlier photographs, he appears to have lost a good deal of weight. In the press conference this morning he seemed dozy, and his complexion is blanched. He looks as I imagine someone to look who’s just emerged from lengthy seclusion in a darkened room. He appears undernourished.

Said Osama bin Laden (b. 1957) to CNN reporter Peter Arnett in March 1997, “We love…death…as much as you love life.” In a sermon delivered on 25 May 2001, the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s mufti of Palestine from 1994 to 2006, Ikrima Sabri (b. 1939), declared, “We tell them [the Jews]: in as much as you love life – the Muslim loves death.” Thus, not only is the Torah’s summons to choose life abrogated, but so is its prohibition against murder.

The evil that surrounds the Jihadist love for death lies in a love for the death of the other human being – specifically, the death of the Jew. That is what they love – not the death of oneself for the sake of another, not the death that affirms life in an affirmation of the One who commands us to choose life and forbids us to murder. No, the Jihadists love inflicting death: witness the mass celebrations that occurred throughout the Muslim world over the murders committed on 9/11. The Jihadists love inflicting death so much that they are literally dying to kill – or rather, they are bent on indoctrinating their children in the desperate longing to kill, as stipulated in Article Eighteen of the Hamas “Charter of Allah.”20 Here and elsewhere their discourse makes it clear that they have no love for the One who forbids both self-murder and the murder of others. Simply stated, the Islamic Jihadists’ love for death is a love for murder, a love for making their children into murderers. Murder is as much a defining feature of Islamic Jihadism as, in the words of Emil Fackenheim, it was the “pure essence” of “the Nazi empire.”
[…]
Forging murder and suicide into a single action of “martyrdom,” the Islamic Jihadist evil… the Jihadists make God into the Führer… a god whose commandment is not merely to choose death but to love death, as the Jihadists themselves boast. Once the “divine” injunction is to pursue death over life – death through murder – we face an evil even more radical than the Nazi evil. Hannah Arendt once declared that “we cannot conceive of a ‘radical evil.'” Unable to accommodate the Nazi evil, writes Arendt, all we can say is that “radical evil has emerged in connection with a system in which all men have become equally superfluous.” With the Jihadist evil, not only are all men equally superfluous – all men must be enlisted into the project of making all men equally superfluous. Facing this radical evil, we are compelled to address its genealogy, so that, understanding where it comes from, we may see where it is going – and respond to it.

Affirming affirmative action
Social and economic inclusion of Arab society in Israel will contribute to creating true equality, the foundation stone for building a shared society – a declared, key goal of MK Avishay Braverman, the minister of minority affairs. Let’s hope the plan succeeds, and impels us to move in the right direction.
By Mohammad Darawshe
Last week the cabinet approved an investment of more than $210 million in the economic development of the Arab community over the next five years. This is considered the largest such investment ever in this population, and is intended to strengthen the economy through construction and expansion of industrial areas, creation of administrative institutions, development of professional and academic training programs, and improvement of the police force, as well as infrastructure, tourism, transportation and day-care services.

Some anniversaries in Arabs’ racist war on Israel/Jews 1921-2011 – unrelated to that “occuptaion” false excuse

Some anniversaries in Arabs’ racist war on Israel/Jews 1921-2011

Within a few days, next to the term “Palestine” we are bound to be subject to hear that filthy blanket-for-Arab-crimes: “occupation” mantra [this despite the falsehood of the term, like, for instance, that the Arab “Palestinians” never really ‘HAD’ the disputed territories, nevertheless], being thrown around at the Arab lobby’s hijacked United Nations. Let’s put, then, some anniversaries in perspective, especially their pre-1967 anti-Israel, or more accurately anti-Jewish war.

1660

Only one Jew survived the 1660 massacre in Safed by Arabs, Jews had to buy off the attackers via borrowing money from rich Muslims at high interest which were extorted with threats of further attacks.

1830’s

* First recorded attack –in modern era– on native Jews in Israel by Muslims, is the one in June 1834, Safed (the Plunder), the massacres and mass rapes went on for 33 days, (a provocateur, Muhammed Damoor, a self-proclaimed prophet, ‘prophesied’ the attack for which he agitated).
It was repeated in 1838.

* Egyptian soldiers massacred Jews in Hebron on the way of putting down a Muslim rebellion.
About the same time, Jewish houses and shops in Jerusalem were broken into and looted by local Muslim insurgents.

Throughout the 1830’s, the Jews found themselves caught between the ravages of the Egyptian soldiers and the multi-ethnic Muslim rebels who fought them.

* [Beginning, major wave of] Egyptian Arab immigration to Palestine.

1844

First census in Jerusalem shows 7120 Jews, 5760 Muslims, 3390 Christians.

1867

A pause in population growth. Desolation, majority of Palestine is vacant. [Arab migration would resume later on, as Zionists begin cultivating the deserted land].

Travelers, writers, including C. F. Volney in the 1700s, Alexander Keith in the 1800s, described Palestine as desolate, empty, waste land. Mark Twain, in “The Innocents Abroad,” 1867, wrote: “Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes …desolate and unlovely…” (though Jews always had some continuous presence for thousands of years.)

1886

First attack of Arabs on a Jewish settlement was in Petach Tikva (which was the first settlement in modern day Israel-Palestine), in March of 1886.

1914

Incitement. the periodical Falastin – with its extremist Arab nationalist slant – was abolished by the Ottoman authorities because of its racist hate propaganda.

1917

On Nov 2, 1917, The British issued the Balfour Declaration, promising a “National Home” for the Jews in Palestine.

1920

Seeds of conflict:
Arabs attack Jews in Jerusalem & in Safed 1920-1921. Better known as “riots.”
During the year, 142 pogroms and 36 lesser riots occur against the Jews. It was carried out due to incitement by [later known as the Mufti] Haj Muhammad Amin al-Husseini who began accumulating wealth and power.
He was the de-facto “founder” of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

1922

* All out Arab immigration (from Syria, Egypt, etc.) into the historic homeland of the Jews started mainly in the 1800’s, however, a significant upsurge occurred since 1922 as Zionists changed the face of the deserted land.
President Roosevelt [in criticizing British White Papers restricting Jewish immigration] concluded in 1939 that “Arab immigration into Palestine since 1921 has vastly exceeded the total Jewish immigration during the whole period.”

From a speech by John W. McCormack of Massachusetts in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1939: “as 150000 Jews and an equal number of Arabs have entered the country since that time, and there are still large stretches of vacant land in the country capable of development and settlement by large population.”

* In July 1922, Churchill White Paper separates Transjordan from area designated for creation of Jewish homeland and links Jewish immigration to “economic capacity of the country.”

As a continuing policy of appeasing the Arabs, 75% of the area of Palestine was taken away from the Jews and the Emirate of Transjordan was created, later to become Jordan. First the British, then the Arabs banned the entry of Jews from the area. This put those communities of Arabs in Transjordan and even the Judean desert who were of Jewish ancestry in an awkward position.

* The British mandatory authorities disregarded al-Husseini’s record of instigation to violence against Jews and against Arabs [he was convicted by the British for his role in 1920’s rampage] who didn’t follow his dictating hateful line, and appointed him grand mufti in 1922.

1929

First ‘Arab on Jews’ massacre in a clear attempt of annihilation, was the Hebron massacre in 1929, incited by the Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini who called to “Kill the Jews everywhere. This pleases Allah.” That was the foundation of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

The 1929 riots were accompanied by militant Arab slogans such as: ‘Palestine is our land and the Jews our dogs…’ among the details of the brutality, small children were tortured by their murderers before being murdered. Women raped. Old Rabbis were castrated with their students before being slain.

Arabs attacked Jews in Safed as well.
[The mufti ferociously opposed to any form of cooperation between Jews and Arabs, which the fledging Zionist movement was trying actively to promote.]

Ever since the 1920’s, bigotry has been fomented.
[
From a PEW poll as recent as 2009: 90% of Middle East views Jews unfavorably.]

1930

In Oct. 1930, Passfield White Paper limits Jewish immigration to Palestine and forbids Jewish land purchases.
Arab immigration, on the other hand, flows into Jews’ historic land without interruption.

1936-9

* For almost three years (1936-39) there was a general Arab uprising & “riots” led by al-Husseini, thousands of Arabs were killed by the British, Arabs murdered & beaten Jews.
Among the highlights are: On April 19, 1936, Arab rioters carried out the ‘Jaffa Massacre.’
In 1938, Arabs massacre Jews in Tiberias.
The Tiberias (today part of the State of Israel) massacre took place on October 2, 1938 during the 1936–1939 Arab “revolt” in ‘Palestine,’ as they went from village to village, while shouting ‘Death to the English.’
Arabs murdered twenty Jews –among them 11 children– in Tiberias after infiltrating the Kiryat Shmuel settlement.

* In May 1939, MacDonald White Paper strictly limits Jewish immigration and prohibits Jews from purchasing Arab land.

* Al-Husseini (Mufti) flees to Iraq and then to Nazi Germany.

1941

The [non-Aryan, Arab] Mufti meets with Adolph Hitler (who –although– considered the Arabs, an inferior monkey-type “race,” yet managed to use him against the Jews) in 1941 [at times he’s called the ‘Fuhrer of the Arab world’], his parties & youth groups in Palestine are fascists, [since 1936, existed Nazi type “storm troopers” with the youth’s oath of: “Life — my right; independence — my aspiration; Arabism — my country, and there is no room in it for any but Arabs. In this I believe and Allah is my witness.” The Palestine two Arab para-military groups: “Futuwwa” & “Najjadah” were active under the mufti at least up to 1947 — cited in a 1947 CIA report document] he plots in his pact with the nazi leader, to massacre Jews on a big scale.
In his post-World War II memoir the Mufti wrote: “Our fundamental condition for cooperating with Germany was a free hand to eradicate every last Jew from Palestine and the Arab world. I asked Hitler for an explicit undertaking to allow us to solve the Jewish problem in a manner befitting our national and racial aspirations and according to the scientific methods innovated by Germany in the handling of its Jews. The answer I got was: The Jews are yours.”
He agitates –in that year– the Arabs, in Nazi oriented Iraq, to attack the Jews, many innocent Jews fall victims in the Farhud (pogrom in Baghdad), by the Arab-Islamic [Hitler-Youth group type] “futuwwa,” led attack.
Later on, in 1943, he will lead a Nazi SS [Bosnian] Muslim army [to commit crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing] against the Christian Serbs.

1947

June 1947, Blutan (Bludan) Syria. Arab League formation. A collective Arab “Jihad” (holy war) invasion by Arab nations is being plotted, to wipe off the Jewish-Palestine, soon to be called (again) Israel.

1948

* Arabs reject U.N. partition for a “two state solution” [even Haim Weizmann’s declaration of accepting a Jewish state even with the size of a tablecloth], the Zionists, however, agree, for the first time in (around) 2,000 Years, a Jewish (albeit non-religious, nor is its legal system Jewish) leadership is in its historic place back again.

* First attempt by the Arabs to ‘eradicate’ Israel, was right after its re-establishment (through the U.N.). The Mufti in 1947, when Israel was declared a state: “I declare a holy war, my Moslem brothers! Murder the Jews! Murder them all.” In 1948. Five Arab armies attacked, with Azzam Pasha, the General Secretary of the Arab League announcing ahead, “This will be a war of extermination, a momentous massacre, which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades.

* Arab leaders ‘create’ the Palestinian-refugee problem, by urging them to leave, as they are (bragging) about to ethnic cleanse the land out of the Jews.
Ever since, these persecuted victims of Arabs (“brothers”), have been used as nothing but a toy, in Arabs’ war against Israel.
[Arab-Palestinians willingness to play along, is one of their first self-inflicted wounds].

* Close to 1,000,000 Jews, indigenous to the Middle East (after Jews dwelling there for generations) are being expelled, as Arab racism grows. (The Jewish Nakba).

* Jordan occupies Jerusalem [May 28], divides the Holy city, expels ethnic-cleanses Jews, applies an ‘apartheid’ rule. It lasted till Israel’s victory which liberated and unified the city.

1950’s

1952 saw the first phenomenon in what now would be called terrorism, the 1950’s 1960’s Arab fidayeen raids against Israeli citizens & property.
[Worth mentioning, that when encountered by Bedouin –instead of Zionist– guards, the infiltrators have not seen mercy, to say the least, ‘Arab brotherhood.’]
In October 1959, Arafat co-founds Fatah terror group, the “Movement for the National Liberation of Palestine.”

1956

Amids backing and encouraging the Arab Fedayeen attacks, pan-Arab “leader,” Nasser of Egypt, surprises the world as he nationalizes the Suez canal, which was owned by British and French stockholders. While France and Britain had economic interest, Israel feared [again] to be overrun by Arab nations.

1961

Ahmad Shukairy (the Mufti‘s aide during WW2 when they collaborated with the Nazis) begins the vilification of Israel at the United Nations, including (already then, yes that’s right, who said, anti-Israel slandering has anything to do with what Israel does or does not?) with an “apartheid” slur.
He was also [the only known personality on the world, at that time who] “protested” the A. Eichmann trial in that speech.

In 1962, he identifies himself with Nazi groups in Argentina.
He had a long history of propagandists tirade, and was already arrested in Lebanon for anti-Western incitement in the 1930s.

1964

The beginning of the era of the Arab immigrants (or their children) adopting the title “Palestinians” as an exclusive name (instead of plain Arabs or S. Syrians) as a political “defintion,” with the creation of the
PLO.

For example, Ahmad Shukairy (the first PLO chairman) in 1956 clarified to the U.N. that they are Arabs, not Palestinians, but by 1964 he & other leaders have changed and began claiming they are the real “Palestinians”…

1964

January 1964: Creation of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), with Fatah as its main faction.
Fatah terror attacks started in January 1965, between 1965-1967: Numerous Fatah bomb attacks target Israeli villages, water pipes, railroads. Homes are destroyed and Israelis are killed. In July 1968: Fatah joins and becomes the dominant member of the PLO, an umbrella organization of Palestinian terrorist groups. On Feb. 4, 1969: Arafat is appointed Chairman of the Executive Committee of the
PLO.
On Oct. 21, 1996, Arafat said “We know only one word – jihad. jihad, jihad, jihad…”
In July 2000, Arafat rejected a peace settlement [leading to a “Palestinian” state] offered by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak.

1967

In 1967, Egypt’s pan-Arab leader Nasser declared, a few days before the six-day war, “Our main task is to destroy Israel.” Syria’s Assad: “It is time to embark on a war of annihilation.” Cairo Radio announced: “All Egypt is now prepared to plunge into total war which will put an end to Israel.” Radio Damascus exhorted: “Throw them into the sea.” Jordan’s king Hussein broadcast this to his army: “Kill the Jews wherever you find them. Kill them with your arms, with your hands, with your nails and teeth.” Throughout the streets of Damascus, Cairo and Amman the frenzied mob marched chanting: “idhbah, idhbah, idhbah, idhbah al-yahud” – (slaughter, slaughter, slaughter the Jews!) A. Shukairy “predicted” that no Jews in Palestine will survive…
The world is stunned at the miracle of tiny Israel pushing off Goliath Arab attack.
It also resulted in a knee-jerk resentment in the Arab world.

1968

July 1968: First act of air piracy against Israel; El Al airliner hijacked en route from Rome to Tel Aviv by PLO terrorists.

1970

Terrorism organized, among the highlighted first attacks: The Avivim school bus massacre in 1970, which resulted in killing 12 (9 of whom were children), and wounding 24.
The chain of Arab-Islamic terror picks-up, with targeting Jews in the area or in the world.

* On September 7, 1970, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine hijacked three planes “to call special attention to the Palestinian problem.” – Dawning an era of international hijacking as a ‘Palestinian struggle.’

The PLO, from Jordan to Lebanon.
* The PLO is chased out of Jordan.
It will start stirring trouble in Lebanon, instead.
To avenge the expulsion from Jordan, the
PLO founded a secretive front group, Black September. Black September’s first victim was Jordanian Prime Minister.
Jordan massacres thousands of Arab Palestinians (Y.
Arafat claimed that Jordan killed between 10,000 to 25,000 in September 1970), for creating turmoil, attacking the government, hijacking airlines, etc.

1972

The Olympics cold blooded massacre of Israel’s sports team in Munich 1972 by Arab Palestinian terrorists, marked a turning point in getting the world’s attention to Arab terrorism.

All in all, the Arab-Palestinian actions, since the late 1960’s-early 1970’s, already defined its path by anti-civilian warfare.

1973

The same sentiments of ‘total annihilation of 1967’ echoes in 1973, (like: “Throw the Jews into the sea.”) the Yom Kippur war takes Israelis off guard, Israel suffers initially great losses but manages to regain it’s control/win over the Arabs, again, within the course of a few days.

Syrian Minister of Defense Mustafa Tlas told the Syrian National Assembly in December 1973 of the following example of “supreme valor” by Syrian troops:
There is the outstanding case of a recruit from Aleppo who murdered 28 Jewish soldiers all by himself, slaughtering them like sheep. All of his comrades in arms witnessed this. He butchered three of them with an ax and decapitated them….He struggled face to face with one of them and throwing down his ax managed to break his neck and devour his flesh in front of his comrades. This is a special case. Need I single it out to award him the Medal of the Republic. I will grant this medal to any soldier who succeeds in killing 28 Jews, and I will cover him with appreciation and honor his bravery.

October 16, 1973, OPEC Led by Saudi Arabia, announced the Arab oil embargo on western countries as a strategic part of the ‘Yom Kippur War,’ to use oil as a weapon.

As Arab nations boycotted Israel, corporations and nations had to agree to Arab demands and not do business with Israel, Arab dictators, terrorist nations/groups, extorted financial benefits or/and political concessions.

The collapse in the oil cartel in the 1980’s; the disunity in the Arab world; Israel’s well advanced high tech market & Israeli consumer market has, weakened somewhat the ‘Arab oil weapon.’

1975

Racist Arabs’ first campaign, of instilling in world’s mind the idea that Zionism [which is about Jews’ return to their homeland] should be regarded as “racism,” in 1975, at the UN through the Arab nations’ lobby, and forcing African nations (who many are still ‘slaves’ to their market and power) to go along.

Ever since, the dreadful idea of shouting “racism” grew as a pattern at any defensive action Israel ever takes against Arab
racist attacks.

It relies heavily on an assuming image of a poor disadvantaged Arab-Palestinian being persecuted by a paler skinned Israeli.
Though, in reality, most Israelis are “brown,” children of those that have been chased out by bigoted Arabs, in middle-east countries since 1948.
Note: Today, in pluralistic multi-racial democratic Israel there are also a great number of black Ethiopian Jews, very visible in security employment. There are no Jews at all, inside ‘purely-Arab’ Palestinian zones, if there’s true ethnic cleansing in the area, it can be found on the Arab side, including in Arab-Palestine.

1976

Palestinian Muslims (Arafat’s
PLO, Syrians and other Muslims), massacre 582 Christians in Damour Lebanon, in a very Islamic spirit of “Allah u Akbar!” and offering a “Holocaust to Muhammad.” It draws a payback by the Christian Phalanges in 1982 in Sabra Shatila (headed by Elie Hobeika, whose fiancee got murdered in Damour), that latter incident has been used in Arab anti-Israel propaganda to blame the Jews for Arab on Arab killings.

150,000 Christians were killed during the war with Muslims since 1975, the Arab Palestinians’ fault in it is major [backing Muslims against Christians].

1979

* The Islamic revolution of January 1979 in Iran impacted the entire region, the oppressive Mullahcracy dictatorship set out to a Shiite expansionism with a vocal anti-western-ism spearheaded by proclaiming the U.S. as the “great Satan” and Israel as the “little one” [its off shoot] (more).

* In March 1979, after a great sacrifice by Israel’s Menachem Begin in giving ‘Yamit‘ to Egypt, uprooting its residents, almost two years after Egypt‘s Sadat came over (November 1977) for a visit in Jerusalem, a peace deal was signed between the two countries.
However, the ugly extreme anti-Jewish pro-violence incitement in Egypt never stopped.

Like every government in Israel’s history, he declared the desire to live in peace with all Arab states. Begin agreed to return to Egypt the strategically critical Sinai — 91 percent of the territory won by Israel during the Six-Day War — in exchange for Sadat’s promise to make peace.
By a strategic give away, giving over the land to Egypt, Israel’s risks included returning to vulnerable areas used by enemies as launching pads for attacks, in addition, it also relinquished direct control of its shipping lanes to and from Eilat, 1,000 miles of roadways, homes, factories, hotels, health facilities and agricultural villages.

1981

On June 7, 1981 Israel carried out the daring air strike destroying Iraq’s nuclear reactor ‘Osirak‘ in an impressive operation, coded “Opera.”

This changed dramatically Saddam’s Iraqi status as a menace. The enormous impact on overall regional stability. As well as on coalition forces’ invasion of 2003.

1982

After a long history of bloody attacks by Arab Palestinians based in Lebanon, Israel is forced to enter Lebanon [‘Peace for the Galilee‘] with an aim to destroy
PLO‘s military capability.
In August 21, 1982 PLO evacuated Lebanon.
Israel is [initially] welcomed by many in Lebanon as ‘liberators,’ as the Arab-Palestinians have been prompting more violence between Muslims and Christians.
Sadly enough, the Islamic Republic of Iran founds a militia “Party of Allah” Hezbollah, its goal, establishing a clearly Islamic (totalitarian, oppressive) Shia state in the entire area, with the eradication of Israel.
Hezbollah will use terrorism against Israel, and adopt a tactic of using
human shields in order to cause civilian casualties, 18 Years later, a group of ‘4 Mothers’ peace activists in Israel will force its government to withdraw from Lebanon.

Background: Hezbollah –asides from being an extended arm of Iran– is backed by Syria, it is largely funded through blood diamonds (in Africa), drug trafficking & other illegal activities (among Arabs) in Latin America, its bloody record in violence include: Bombing American & French peacekeepers in Lebanon & the US embassy in that country (1983), kidnapping & torture, bombing shopping centers in Paris (1985/1986), hijacking airlines, targeting Israeli civilians, stirring violence in Iraq, Afghanistan & Somalia. Its leader H. Nassrallah had an ‘honesty outburst’ in Oct. (published in Oct/23) 2002, when he said: “If they (Jews) all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.” (More).

1987

First Arab-Palestinian “intifada,” attacking Israeli civilians in all methods possible, sending its youth throwing rocks [that kill] while, often armed adults hide behind these kids. Arab-Muslim Palestinian children are being indoctrinated into a death cult of Jihadism and Shahidism.

The use of children in the war –human bombs and human shields– becomes a routine. [‘Arafat‘s children’]

Palestinian propaganda becomes powerful, as adults shoot live ammunition behind little children’s shoulders, the TV picks up only the images of children throwing rocks VS Israeli soldiers firing back… a twisted around “David VS Goliath.” [When a picture is not worth a thousand words].

Official Arab-Palestinian TV & religious figures incite to violence, it demonizes Jews as “animals.” (“Supported” by radical Islamic theory of seeing Christians as pigs and Jews as apes).

[Examples of incitement: July 2000: “The Hour [of Resurrection] will not take place until you will fight the Jews and kill them” (Dr. Ahmed Yousuf Abu Halabiyah, member of the Palestinian Sharia [Islamic religious law] Rulings Council, and Director of Advanced Studies, the Islamic University, PA TV, July 28, 2000), October 2000: “Kill them all… we won’t leave a single Jew here.” (Young Girl, PA TV, Oct. 22, 2000), September 2004: “The Hour [of Resurrection] will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Muslims kill them. The Muslims will kill the Jews, rejoice!” (Sheikh Ibrahim Mudayris, Head of Association for Memorizing the Quran, PA Ministry of Endowments & Religious Affairs, PA TV, September 10, 2004), January 2005: “…and the rock and the tree will say: Oh Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!” (Dr. Hassan Khater, founder of Al Quds Encyclopedia PA TV, January 10, 2005).

Palestinian TV – Suliman Sutari, before thousands of chanting fanatics. (July 8, 2005): “Annihilate the infidels and the polytheists. They’re [Allah’s] enemies and the enemies of the religion. Allah, count them and kill them to the last one, and don’t even leave one.” Little Girl on Palestinian T V: “But I march quickly toward my death.” Little boy on Palestinian T V: “… And we swear to take vengeful blood from our enemies for our killed and wounded.” Muslim cleric Muhsen Abu ‘Ita told Al-Aqsa TV: “The annihilation of the Jews here in Palestine is one of the most splendid blessings for Palestine. This will be followed by a greater blessing, Allah be praised, with the establishment of a Caliphate.” Sheikh Ibrahim Mudayris: “Kill A Jew –Go To Heaven” The Muslims will kill the Jews, rejoice!”
From a Fatah/PA TV Nazi-Like Sermon in 2010: “Fight The Jews & Kill Them — They Are Enemies Of Humanity & Allah”].

Note:
Palestinians (like
Hezbollah) “document” every defensive action by Israel, where the Arabs manage to cause civilian deaths, as “Israeli massacres.”

1991

* Saddam Hussein, the ‘Butcher of Baghdad’ (nicknamed as such for his extraordinary record [in recent history] of mass-murder, mass-torture) invades Kuwait, the U.S. attacks Iraq, Saddam, in return, takes on Israel –for being U.S. ally– with a rain of scuds missiles, fear in Israel and abroad (as it’s still “fresh” – a merely 3 Years after the racist cruel pan-Arab leader gassed his Kurdish population). Miraculously there are no casualties.

1993

* The Oslo agreement between Israel & the Arab-Palestinians proved to be typical of such negotiations where the demands & pressure is put solely on Israel – the one struggling against Arab initiated violence.
The result, not only did it slow down but it rather increased, Arab-Palestinian campaign of violence against Israeli civilians only stepped up mobilization, motivation rose, attacks intensified. Causing frustration among Israelis, Rabin is seen as endangering lives, which led a lone gunman to assassinate him later on.

* When the Oslo Agreements allowed the Palestinian Authority (PA) to print their own resources, it opted to use the Jordanian texts in their original forms. This was the start of the process of incitement. The starting mottos was rewriting history, de-legitimizing Israel’s right to exist, “Palestine” is part of pan-Islamic nation.

The hate industry, instilling flaming-hatred in the young, has become one of the foundations in their overall child-abuse crimes, in a culture of using its children as weapons, child soldiers.

[Textbooks of hate:
Some excerpts from the Arab racism & Islamic bigotry teaching: “The return of the Jews to Palestine and permitting them to establish a Jewish State contradicts history.” (Our Country Palestine from the introduction, pg. ix) – The book is dedicated to: “those who are battling for the expulsion of the enemy from our land!” (Our Country Palestine) – “There will be a Jihad and our country shall be freed. This is our story with the thieving conquerors. You must know, my boy, that Palestine is your grave responsibility.” (Our Arabic Language) – “Remember: The final and inevitable result will be the victory of the Muslims over the Jews.” (Our Arabic Language) – “The honorable soul has two objectives: Achieving death and honor.” (Abd al-Rahim Mahmud’s Song of the Martyr, Sixth Grade) – “The Martyr rejoices in the paradise that Allah has prepared for him.” (Islamic Education for Seventh Grade) – “The Jews claim that this is one of the places belonging to them and call it “The Western Wall”, but this is not so.” (Reader and Literary Texts for Eighth Grade) – “Racism: Mankind has suffered from this evil both in ancient as well as in modern times, for, indeed, Satan has, in the eyes of many people, made their evil actions appear beautiful.Such a people are the J–s.” (Islamic Education for Eighth Grade) – “Lessons to be learned. One must beware of the J–s, for they are treacherous and disloyal.” (Islamic Education for Ninth Grade) – “Subject for Composition: How are we going to liberate our stolen land? Make use of the following ideas: Arab unity, genuine faith in Allah, most modern weapons and ammunition, using oil and other precious natural resources as weapons in the battle for liberation.” (Our Arabic Language for Seventh Grade) – “Martyred Jihad fighters are the most honored people, after the Prophets.” (Reading And Literary Texts for Tenth Grade) – “The clearest examples of racist belief and racial discrimination in the world are Nazism and Zionism.” (The Contemporary History of the Arabs and the World).]

1994

* July, 1994, The Iranian arm ‘
Hezbollah‘ bombs the civilian Jewish center in Argentina [AMIA, the terror group also attacked the embassy in that country 2 years prior], massacring 85 and wounding 300.
The Iranian Imam Mohsen Rabbani says (in Argentina, at the aftermath of the bombing): “Israel must disappear from the face of the Earth.”
The terror attack by Arab-Muslims on Jews in the diaspora, heightened the alert, internationally.

* Oct. 1994, Israel’s Y. Rabin signs a peace treaty with Jordan, the Palestinian-Arab masses inside Jordan (who make up 60% of Jordanians) and in Israel/Palestine area are angered, Hamas vows to continue its campaign of violence “anywhere in the world.”

[As with the “peace-treaty” with Egypt, anti-Jewish campaign, is relentless (
more).]

2000

Second Intifada.
A planned renewal of another wave of bloody violent Intifada was in place, an opportunity to “let it out” came about when Sharon visited the Jewish temple mount, Muslims seized the opportunity to “protest” Sharon’s visit in “their holy place.”
All is fair play to be exploited for terrorism against Israelis. It’s own population: women, children. Even ambulances.

Arafat now had a “perfect” title, in order to galvanize global Islamic support, his people named it the “Al Aqsa Intifada.” The Al-Aqsa is of course the mosque, which Muslims build on top of the historic Jewish temple.
It was boosted up by a staged video, therein an Arab boy Muhammad al-Dura –who as exposed later on as being– shot by Arabs, was mistakenly pinned on Israel. Al-Dura becomes a symbol and an icon and motivates to more violence.

* The Ramallah brutal lynch of 2 Israelis –who lost their way– by Arab Palestinian masses and its police in public square, the sheer animalism of mutilating and “playing” with their body parts while screaming in inhuman ways, revealed the real face of mainstream Arab-Muslim Palestine.
They were describe by a British journalist eyewitness: “they were like animals.” The Italian crew who filmed the crime was threatened by
Arafat‘s people.

(Suicide) Genocide bombings rise, targeting ‘where civilians gather the most,’ to kill as many unarmed Jews as possible.

Among the perpetrators of terror attacks:
Hamas, (Iran’s) Islamic Jihad, Tanzim, Fatah’s Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade [still (2010) exist under Abu Mazen].

A rise of the use of children, use-of-civilians tactics “succeeds” in making Israel look bad.

2001

* Demonization of Israel takes an open anti-Semitic tone at that infamous racist Arab control gathering in Durban in denouncing Zionism (an Arab writer described the Arabs as “racists cry racism“), the Arabs passed along anti Jewish hateful pamphlets at the United Nations.

First vicious successful propaganda of adopting the slur “apartheid” to Israel’s equal democratic state, it followed the above “racism” slur on Zionism.
Arab Palestinian Marwan Bishara published a book (in 2002) “Israel, peace or apartheid.”

The idea behind it was/is to equate any understandable action by Israeli security as “racist” and de-legitimizing its existence just as S. Africa was at the apartheid (segregation between blacks & whites) era, while in fact, there’s no separation between Jews and Arabs (who make up 25% of equal citizens) in Israel, and Jews are required to get through check points just as Arabs do, security tactics are regional, where terrorism is more frequent, nothing “racial.”
Not only are Arabs equal citizens in voting, being elected in government, but have often more rights than Israeli Jews, as they’re exempt from military services without having an effect on their equal benefits as Israeli Jews have, there’s also a policy of affirmative action to empower Arabs.

In 100% apartheid Arab-Palestine, no Jews are allowed to live in.
Not to mention the Arab, Islamic worlds, where real apartheid is rampant against minorities.
Worth reminding that it was A. Shukairy in 1961 at the UN who already came up with the “apartheid” false thesis.
A major boost got the “apartheid” slur, through a (2006) book by Jimmy Carter with a title almost identical to M. Bishara’s, Carter who was always pro Arabism and pro Islamism on the expense of the west, including in Iran, and has been blamed for the change in that country towards the current oppressive Islamic Republic regime resulting in so many crimes on the millions of its citizens since 1979.

Even though, Jimmy Carter himself admitted on CNN (Dec, 12, 2006): “I recognize that Israel is a wonderful democracy with freedom of speech and equality of treatment under the law between Arab Israelis and Jewish Israelis.” Yet he accepted Arab lobby’s money to write that hate book.

* Ordinary Arab Palestinians show their true face of “humanity” by celebrating –dancing, singing, giving out candies to children– the 9/11 Islamic massacre upon 3,000 innocent people in the U.S.

2002

* The height of homicide bombers‘ frequency – between 2002-2005, striking from Tel Aviv to Naharia, from Jerusalem to Be’er Sheva, targeting mostly the innocent unarmed civilians, aboard crowded buses, at bus stops, markets, restaurants, cafeterias, family gatherings, crowds of children, etc. Leaving a long trail of blood of the innocent.
“Joy” on Arab-Palestine streets, dance & jubilation at every major bloody massacre the Arab-Muslims carry out.

*
Pallywood –the term coined due to Palestinian-Arabs’ fake images, fake “reports” industry– steps up with “advanced” lies.
As the Israeli army conducts its anti-terror action in Jenin, where bombers, attackers operate from, the humane IDF is risking its lives, the careful soldiers go from door to door in search of weapons and wanted individuals, all that doesn’t prevent the Palestine authority to stream false reports, of “hundreds” dead in a “massacre” that never was… some were caught faking a “funeral,” they’ve even added dead bodies from a cemetery to the Jenin site to inflate the numbers at the “massacre.”
After the facts [real casualties numbering 50 plus, mostly terrorists, not “
civilians“] were finally revealed, no Arab-Palestinian representative bothered to apologize, PA’s Saeb Erekat simply avoided the question by a [TV, ABC] reporter as to their claims of “500” dead…
On the contrary, the Arab-Palestine leadership have learned that it works pretty well: to lie, smear, before the facts come out, never ever paying for their anti-Israel falsification.
Thus, it will be repeated, again and again, by every Israeli action, to their advantage, still.

2005

* Israel gives away Gaza to the Arab Palestinians, as it roots out Jews from their homes in a most dramatic (non violent) way, this causes not a moderation on the Arab side, on the contrary, Islamic Jihadi Hamas rises as “victorious,” again [like all Israel’s concessions], the Arab side’s taking Israel’s sacrifice for peace as “weakness.”

* The patron of
Hamas, Islamic Jihad & Hezbollah, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s president M. Ahmadinejad (1) calls for Israel to be wiped off map, (2) he also claims that he “denies” the holocaust and (3) pursues nuclear weapons.
In 2007, he said: ‘Israel, US will soon die.’

Note: Regarding Ahmadinejad’s use of Arab-Palestinians. Iran’s Islamic Republic is not very fond of the Arabs, in fact it has frictions with S. Arabia & it persecutes its Arab minority (true, the fascist regime oppresses all, but minorities are subject to extra “special treatment”).

* To get a sense of Arab racism in most “moderate” countries, a PEW poll found in 2005 that most Jordanians viewed Jews unfavorably, none has viewed Jews favorably.

2006

Hezbollah attacks Israel [its missiles reach deep inside Israel], it “improves” Palestinian tactics of using civilians, by firing rockets upon Israeli civilians (in major Israeli cities/towns) from among populated density locations, then, cowardly escaping the area, causing Israelis to fire back. The intended Lebanese casualties cause an uproar in the Arab world, Hezbollah comes out as “heroes.”

2007

Mainstream Arabs in Gaza go radical, vote for totalitarian Islamic party Hamas to become their “democratically elected government.”

A major gathering follows, where thousands of Arab-Palestinians (with a Hamas spokesman) declare they want an Islamic Caliphate.

[About ‘Caliphate’ (Khilafah):
The intention, endlessly repeated, is the establishment of a primitive, messianic caliphate — redeeming Islam and dominating the world.
For radical Islam’s goal is global conquest. The Caliphate: One nation, under Allah, with 1.5 billion Muslims …It would do away with national boundaries and stretch from Indonesia to Morocco.
The ‘Muslim brotherhood’ aims for it and its Islamists who assassinated Anwar el-Sadat in 1981 decorated their holding cages with banners proclaiming the “caliphate or death.”
It’s Al-Qaeda’s grand plan, as its chiefs revealed ‘world domination design’ to take over the world and turn it into an Islamic state the establishment of the “caliphate,” an Islamic super-state that would be ruled according to a Taliban-like version of Islamic totalitarian with strict ‘implementation of pure Islamic doctrine.’ Barak Obama (August, 2007): “They [Muslim extremists] kill man, woman and child; Christian and Hindu, Jew and Muslim. They seek to create a repressive caliphate. To defeat this enemy, we must understand who we are fighting against, and what we are fighting for.”
]

Christians, the tiny minority among the Arabs, who have been subject to persecution by the Islamic majority (Islamic apartheid?), especially since the reign of Y.
Arafat, saw a major rise in oppression with the ascend of Hamas, a number of Christian institutions and members have been attacked or/and threatened.

Hamas backgrounder:
The Jihadi party, has been involved in major anti Israel attacks, its charter calls for the destruction of Israel, its leaders often declare
(including on “moderate” Fatah TV) their desire to annihilate Jews, a sample video showed a Hamas-nick vowing to “drink the blood of the Jews.” In 2007 Hamas’ Mickey Mouse’ (“martyr”) character is teaching Kids to hate and kill, in 2008 On Hamas TV, a toy rabbit who vows to ‘eat Jews’ has being used by Hamas to encourage Palestinian children for violence. Acting Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council Sheik Ahmad Bahr from Hamas, declared during a Friday Sermon at a Sudan Mosque that America and Israel Will Be Annihilated and Called upon Allah to Kill the Jews and the Americans ‘to the Very Last One.’ (More.)

A 2007 Poll: 75% of (all) Palestinians do not think that Israel has the right to exist.

* Israel’s first Arab president. M. Whbee is briefly serving Israel’s acting president. Israel is indeed a multi-racial, multi-religious democracy.
Vs. Arab-Islamic apartheid systems, where all minorities are oppressed..

2008

After 8 years of firing missiles into Israel by Arab-Palestinian leadership – Hamas, especially targeting children (programmed at certain hours when they go to/leave school) in Sderot, Israel decided it had enough, it kicks off ‘Cast lead.‘ Risking the lives of its soldiers in conducting operations against terrorists and weapons stock-piling inside Gaza, and warning the residents to evacuate (clear the way, and move to other areas) before hand. Yet, it was still condemned.
By now, Hamas is not shy in bragging of using children as human shields.

2010

Flotilla jihad
Arab Muslim anti-Israel propaganda picks up steam,
as the current motto is to “make Jews look bad” so they can justify their hatred and create the foundation for their intended ultimate goal of genocide.

A supposed “peace activism” designed to help the
Hamas in Gaza who have been blockaded (after their continuous attacks on Israel’s civilians, in order to stop their weapon smuggling), has been organizing “aid ships” heading to Gaza and confront Israeli security, [incidentally, there are no “aid ships” heading towards the Egyptian border, though that country has the same blockade on the violent Gaza regime, for no one in the Arab-Islamic world cares about Arab-Palestinians, unless it can hurt Israel, a “sacred” goal by leaders, religious clerics, etc.], one such ship, the Flotilla had a major success in damning Israel’s image, after violently attacking the Israelis (who came aboard to check for weapons), 9 Muslims died, an uproar against Israel came about.
Later on, the true intentions of the Islamists on board were revealed, as they were filmed shouting: ‘kill the Jews for Allah’ and in an earlier defying radio exchange with the Israelis who warned them of entering Israeli territory the response from the Islamists aboard the ship was “Shut up! Go back to Auchwitz! We help the Arabs, Remember 9/11!”
There were also revelations that Islamists planned the entire event as “martyrdom.”

The Flotilla was organized by the radical Islamic Turkish group IHH, tied to terrorism, Turkish president Mr. Erdogan who’s representing the Islamic party (linked to the Flotilla), was looking for some time to break his country’s alliance with Israel. He also objected to UN’s sanctions against
Iran for not complying with regards to its nuclear program.
Radicalization of Turkey, in an already volatile region.
In 2011, the UN justified Israel’s action on the Flotilla as well as its blockade against Gaza’s Hamas. Which infuriated Turkey even more.

2011

* September 9, 2011, Arab-Muslim mob in Cairo, Egypt attack the Israeli embassy while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” A CNN [which is never accused of being pro-Israel] reporter described them “they were animals.”
It was following an uprising that toppled the Mubarak regime (where by, at the celebration, hundreds of Arabs, in public, sexually attacked CBS reporter Lara Logan screaming “Jew, Jew!”) the rise of the ‘Muslim Brotherhood” and anti-Israel incitement. A BBC journalist also described how he was subject to anti-Semitism in that country, during this period.

* September 13. Maen Areikat
PLO‘s ambassador to the U.S. declares in Washington D.C. a future “Palestine” State should be “Jew free” (judenrein). This ethnic – religious cleansing (worse than Apartheid) plan causes a major uproar. Especially in light of the intentional REAL apartheid, Vs. Arab-Islamic constant use of the “apartheid slur” unjustifiably.

Note: “Palestinian” PM Mahmoud Abbas’ such racist declaration of a “Palestine” State free of Jews (not even ANY Jews under NATO!) in Cairo on July 28 2010, as well as in Doha on May 28, 2011, caused less of a stir. Particularly, since this 2011 publicized event took place within days before a “Palestinian” plan for a bid at the UN for a separated [all new] State.
Actually, this has always been “Palestinian” stand, A. Shukairy on June 1, 1967: “This is a fight for the homeland-it is either us or the. Israelis. There is no middle road. The Jews of Palestine will have to leave. We will facilitate their departure.”

In short, in 100 Words…

Israel [the multi-racial, equal democracy], its Jewish returnees to their historic homeland, face genocide campaign [at times “just” ethnic cleansing] by Arab-Muslims since the 1920’s. Whether by Arab immigrants, their children – called “Palestinians,” or by [apartheid, almost Judenrein] Arab/Muslim forces [exploiters of Arab-Palestinians] for: power, sheer anti-Jewish hatred [exemplified through dehumanization/incitement], or as part of an overall Jihad towards world domination.
Motivation: Islamic bigotry, Jihad, Arab racism.
The aggressors (Palestinians/Hezbollah) self-made “victims” falsify information/images, define lost battles, casualties resulting from Islamists using civilians (to make humane Israel look bad), as “massacres.”

ARAB-ISLAMIC APARTHEID

VS ISRAEL’S COSMOPLITAN DEMOCRACY

A few simple historic & present facts about wonderful Israel VS Arab nations/Arab-Palestinians

A few simple historic & present facts about wonderful Israel VS Arab nations/Arab-Palestinians

From material published in Sun News:

* Israel is a multi-ethnic Jewish democracy, with a thriving Christian population and 20 percent Arab population, all free citizens. Since 9/11, Muslims slaughtered “infidels” in 7,500 deadly, ethnic-cleansing jihad attacks.

Islamic states, China, Iran, Cuba, and Syria, are apartheid, with severe domination over their citizens, torture, beheadings, amputations, honor killings; death to women, homosexuals, apostates, and rioters who oppose dictatorships.

* When Israel became a state in 1948, seven Arab nations attacked for the entire Mandate. 160,000 Arabs who stayed, became Israel’s million citizens. Those who followed Arab orders became political pawns to acquire Israel. Acceptance of peace would have meant two states, no refugees, no Nakba.

* 10,000 Jews became refugees of the Mandate; 950,000 Jews fled Arab persecution, absorbed by Israel and France. No pawns.

* Arabs are still killing Israelis, using its citizens as shields. Israel’s care to target military is confirmed; so is their right to self-defense.

* Israel is first worldwide in rescue missions and humanitarian aid to all nations — Haiti, Turkey, Greece, Ethiopia, etc. Innovations and achievements in science, medicine and literature reap Nobel prizes. Israel leads in humanitarian programs and healthcare to needy countries, and leads in hi-tech and biomedical innovation, research and development. Israel conducts courses annually for emerging nations, helping in desert agriculture, water management, emergency and disaster medicine. The Koran commands Islamic charity to Islamic countries only.

* When Israel administered the “territories,” they became the 4th-fastest growing economy in the 1970s, rising per-capita income, plunged unemployment, plunged infant mortality. Israel ended the “occupation”; the areas are run by terrorist Hamas and Fatah. Israeli “settlements” (housing developments) were built in undeveloped, uninhabited areas and are perfectly legal.

There is no greater ally to the US than Israel, a bulwark for democracy.

Arab Spring may be good for Israel after all

Arab Spring may be good for Israel after all – Ha’aretz – July 1, 2011

By Amos Harel

Arab Spring may be good for Israel after all
Even Arab analysts who witnessed the changes in the region up close recognize that forecasting the future is futile. But that doesn’t mean they don’t see recent events as a cause for elation… as Aluf Benn described in these pages a week ago: a weakening of the radical-Shi’ite axis if the Syrian regime is overthrown, Turkey distancing itself from Iran and Syria, and a continuation of Israel’s decent relations with Egypt.

The Arab Apartheid [Ben Dror Yemini]

May 18, 2011

The Arab Apartheid

By Ben Dror Yemini
Maariv (translated from Hebrew)
May 14, 2011

The real “nakba,” which is the story of the Arab apartheid. Tens of millions, among them Jews, suffered from the “nakba,” which included dispossession, expulsion and displacement. Only the Palestinians remained refugees because they were treated to abuse and oppression by the Arab countries. Below is the story of the real “nakba”

In 1959, the Arab League passed Resolution 1457, which states as follows: “The Arab countries will not grant citizenship to applicants of Palestinian origin in order to prevent their assimilation into the host countries.” That is a stunning resolution, which was diametrically opposed to international norms in everything pertaining to refugees in those years, particularly in that decade. The story began, of course, in 1948, when the Palestinian “nakba” occurred. It was also the beginning of every discussion on the Arab-Israeli conflict, with the blame heaped on Israel, because it expelled the refugees, turning them into miserable wretches. This lie went public through academe and the media dealing with the issue.

In previous articles on the issue of the Palestinians, we explained that there is nothing special about the Israeli Arab conflict. First, the Arab countries refused to accept the proposal of partition and they launched a war of annihilation against the State of Israel which had barely been established. All precedents in this matter showed that the party that starts the war – and with a declaration of annihilation, yet – pays a price for it. Second, this entails a population exchange: indeed, between 550,000 and 710,000 Arabs (the most precise calculation is that of Prof. Ephraim Karash, who calculated and found that their number ranges between 583,000 and 609,000). Most of them fled, a minority were expelled because of the war and a larger number of about 850,000 Jews were expelled or fled from Arab countries ( the “Jewish nakba”). Third, the Palestinians are not alone in this story. Population exchanges and expulsions were the norm at that time. They occurred in dozens of other conflict points, and about 52 million people experienced dispossession, expulsion and uprooting (”And the World is lying”). And fourth, in all the population exchange precedents that occurred during or at the end of an armed conflict, or on the backdrop of the establishment of a national entity, or the disintegration of a multinational state and the establishment of a national entity – there was no return of refugees to the previous region, which had turned into a new national state. The displaced persons and the refugees, with almost no exceptions, found sanctuary in the place in which they joined a population with a similar background: the ethnic Germans who wore expelled from Central and Eastern Europe assimilated in Germany, the Hungarian refugees from Czechoslovakia and other places found sanctuary in Hungary, the Ukrainians who were expelled from Poland found sanctuary in Ukraine, and so forth. In this sense, the affinity between the Arabs who originated in mandatory Palestine and their neighbors in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, was similar or even greater than the affinity between many ethnic Germans and their country of origin in Germany, sometimes after a disconnect of many generations.

Only the Arab states acted completely differently from the rest of the world. They crushed the refugees despite the fact that they were their coreligionists and members of the Arab nation. They instituted a régime of apartheid to all intents and purposes. So we must remember that the “nakba” was not caused by the actual dispossession, which had also been experienced by tens of millions of others. The “nakba” is the story of the apartheid and abuse suffered by the Arab refugees (it was only later that they became “Palestinians”) in Arab countries.

Egypt:

Throughout many eras, there was no real distinction between the inhabitants of Egypt and the inhabitants of the coastal plain. Both were Muslims, Arabs, who lived under Ottoman rule. According to the researcher Oroub El-Abed, commercial ties, mutual migration and intermarriage between the two groups was commonplace. Many of the residents of Jaffa were defined as Egyptians because they arrived in many waves, like the wave of immigration to Jaffa during the rule of Muhammad Ali and his son over many parts of the coastal plain. Inhabitants of the Ottoman Empire, which became mandatory Palestine, did not have an ethnic or religious identity that differed from that of the Egyptian Arabs.

Various records from the end of 1949 show that 202,000 refugees went to the Gaza Strip, primarily from Jaffa, Beer Sheva and Majdal (Ashkelon). That number may be exaggerated because the local poor also joined the list of aid recipients. The refugees went to the place where they were part of the majority group from all standpoints: ethnic, national and religious. Egypt, however, did not think so. At first, back in September 1948, a “government of all Palestine” was established, headed by Ahmad al-Baki. However, it was an organization under Egyptian auspices due to the rivalry with Jordan. The ostensible Palestinian government gave up the ghost after a decade.

What happened to the people in the Gaza Strip? How did the Egyptians treat them? Strangely, there is almost no research dealing with those days. But it is a bit difficult to hide that not so distant past. The Gaza Strip became a closed camp. It became almost impossible to leave Gaza. Severe restrictions were imposed on the Gazans (the originals and the refugees) in everything connected with employment, education and other matters. Every night there was a curfew until dawn the next day. There was only one matter in which the Egyptians assisted to the best of its ability: the school books contained serious incitement against Jews. Already in 1950, Egypt notified the UN that “due to the population crowding,” it would not be possible to assist the Palestinians by resettling them. That was a dubious excuse. Egypt thwarted the UN proposal to resettle 150,000 refugees in Libya. Many of the refugees who had fled in the earlier stages and were within Egypt were also forced to move to the giant concentration camp that was forming in the Gaza Strip. In effect, all the settlement arrangements proposed for resettling the refugees were blocked by the Arab countries.

Despite the absolute isolation, there is testimony about what happened in the Gaza Strip during those years. The important American journalist Martha Gellhorn paid a visit to the refugee camps in 1961. She also went to the Gaza Strip. It wasn’t simple. Gellhorn described the bureaucratic ordeal involved in obtaining an entry permit to the Gaza Strip and the days of waiting in Cairo. She also described the “sharp contrast between the amiability of the clerks, and the anti-Semitic propaganda that blossomed in Cairo.” “The Gaza Strip is not a hole,” Gellhorn stated, “but rather one big prison. The Egyptian government and is the warden.” She described a harsh military régime with all the elite of the Gaza Strip expressing enthusiastically pro-Nasser positions. Thus, for example, “For 13 years (1948-1961) only 300 refugees managed to obtain temporary exit visas.” The only thing that the Egyptians gave the Palestinians was hate propaganda.

That is not the only testimony. In 1966, a Saudi newspaper published a letter by one of the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip:

“I would be happy if the Gaza Strip would be conquered by Israel. At least that way we would know that the one violating our honor, hurting us and tormenting us – would be the Zionist oppressor, Ben Gurion, and not an Arab brother whose name is Abdel Nasser. The Jews under Hitler did not suffer the way we are suffering under Nasser. In order to go to Cairo or Alexandria or other cities, we have to go through an ordeal.”

Radio Jedda in Saudi Arabia broadcast the following:

“We are aware of the laws that prohibit Palestinians from working in Egypt. We have to ask Cairo, what is the Iron Curtain that Abdel Nasser and his gang have raised around the Gaza Strip and the refugees? The military governor in Gaza has prohibited every Arab from traveling to Cairo without a military permit, which is valid for only 24 hours. Imagine, Arabs, how Nasser, who claims to be the pioneer of Arab nationalism, treats the wretched Arabs of Gaza, who are starving to death while the military governor and his officers enjoy the riches in the Gaza Strip.”

Even assuming that those were exaggerated descriptions in the struggle between Saudi Arabia and Nasser, we are still left with an oppressive régime of two decades. And it is worth noting another fact – when Israel arrived in the Gaza Strip, the life expectancy there was 48 years of age. After a little over two decades, the life expectancy has jumped to 72 years of age, past that of Egypt. More than the fact that this awards points to Israel, it also shows the abyss in which the Gaza Strip found itself during the days of the Egyptian régime.

Refugees from mandatory Palestine also lived in Egypt itself. Many of them did not even feel that they were Palestinians and preferred to assimilate. The Egyptians prevented them from doing so. Except for a short period of time that was considered the “golden age,” during some of the years of Nasser’s rule, which did not include the Gaza refugees, even those who were in Egypt suffered from restrictions on purchasing land, engaging in certain professions and education (for example, there was a prohibition on the establishment of a Palestinian school). The Egyptian citizenship law allowed citizenship for someone whose father is Egyptian, and later the law was expanded to anyone whose mother is Egyptian. In actuality, however, restrictions were imposed on anyone considered a Palestinian. Even the decision of an Egyptian court canceling the restrictions did not help. The new régime in Egypt has recently promised change. The change, even if it happens, cannot erase many years of discrimination, which was tantamount to collective punishment. Thus, for example, in 1978, Egyptian Minister of Culture Yusouf al-Shib’ai was murdered in Cyprus by a member of Abu Nidal’s group. In reprisal, the Palestinians suffered a new wave of attacks and the Egyptian parliament renewed legislation restricting the Palestinians in education and employment services.

Jordan:

Precisely like the identification and unity between the Arabs of Jaffa and southern Israel, and the Arabs of Egypt, similar identification exists between the Arabs of the West Bank and the Arabs of Jordan. Thus, for example, the Bedouin of the Majalis (or Majilis) tribe from the al-Karak region are originally from Hebron. During the days of the Ottoman Empire, Eastern Jordan was part of the Damascus district, like other parts of what later came under the auspices of the British mandate. According to the Balfour declaration, the area now called Jordan was supposed to be part of the Jewish national homeland.

The initial distress of the refugees on both sides of the Jordan River, was enormous. For example, Iraqi soldiers controlled the area of Nablus, and there is testimony about “the Iraqi soldiers taking the children of the rich for acts of debauchery and returning the children to their families the next day, the inhabitants are frequently arrested.” (in Hebrew) Indeed, Arab solidarity.

It seemed that Jordan treated the refugees differently. Under a 1954 Jordanian law, any refugee who lived in the area of Jordan between 1948 and 1954 was given the right to citizenship. However, that was only the outward façade. Below is a description of the reality under the Jordanian régime in the West Bank:

“We have never forgotten and we will never forget the nature of the régime that degraded our honor and trampled our human feelings. A régime that was built on an inquisition and the boots of the desert people. We lived for a long time under the humiliation of the Arab nationalism and it hurts to say that we had to wait for the Israeli conquest in order to become aware of humane relations with civilians.”

Because these things are liable to sound like an ad from a public relations campaign by the occupying force, it should be noted that they were published in the name of critics from the West Bank in an interview with the Lebanese newspaper Al Hawadith on April 23, 1971.

As in all other Arab countries, Jordan did not do a thing to dismantle the refugee camps. While Israel was absorbing hundreds of thousands of refugees from Europe and the Arab countries in similar camps (transit camps), and undergoing a punishing process of rehabilitation, building new settlements and dismantling the camps, Jordan did exactly the opposite and prevented any process of rehabilitation. During those same two decades, not one institution of higher learning was established in the West Bank. The flowering of higher education began in the 1970s, after the Israelis took control..

Even the citizenship that was given to the refugees was mainly for the sake of appearances. Despite the fact that the Palestinians number over 50% of the inhabitants of Jordan, they hold only 18 seats – out of 110 – in the Jordanian parliament, and only 9 senators out of 55, who are appointed by the king. It should also be recalled that during just one month, September 1970, in one confrontation, Jordan killed many more Palestinians than all the Palestinians who have been hurt in the 43 years of Israeli rule over the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Syria:

The first Congress of Muslim-Christian Associations, the first Palestinian Arab conference, was held in Jerusalem in 1919. At the conference, it was decided that Palestine, which had just been conquered by the British, was southern Syria – an integral part of greater Syria. Over the years of the mandate, the immigration from Syria into the British mandate territory increased, for example, the Al-Hourani family, which arrived from the Houran in Syria, and others. The idea of “greater Syria,” which included mandatory Palestine, was also reflected in the growing involvement of Syrians in the great Arab rebellion and in the gangs that arrived from Syria during the War of Independence. The refugees, therefore, were not strangers politically, religiously or ethnically. To the contrary. Their fate should not have been different from the fate of other ethnic groups who were expelled to a place in which they constituted the national and cultural majority.

Between 70,000 and 90,000 refugees arrived in Syria, the decisive majority of them from Safed, Haifa, Tiberias and Acre. Thus, in 1954, they were granted partial rights, which did not include political rights. Until 1968, they were prohibited from holding property. Syrian law enables any Arab citizens to obtain Syrian citizenship, provided that his permanent residence is in Syria and he has a proven capacity for economic subsistence. However, the Palestinians are the only ones outside the applicability of the law. Even if they are permanent residents and possess means, the law prevents them from obtaining citizenship.

Only 30% of those who, for some reason, are still considered “Palestinian refugees in Syria” still live in refugee camps. Actually, they should long ago have been considered Syrians to all intents and purposes. They were part of the national Arab identity, they are connected by family ties, they should have been assimilated into the economic life of the country. But despite that, as a result of the political brainwashing, they remain in Syria as a foreign element, they daydream about the “right of return,” and are kept perpetually in their inferior status. Most of them are at the bottom of the employment ladder, in the service (41%) and construction (27%) professions. But there is nothing like the field of education to clarify their situation. 23% do not even go to elementary schools and only 3% reach academic education.

Lebanon:

In the Gaza Strip, the Palestinians suffered for only two decades because of the Egyptian régime. In Lebanon, the apartheid continues to this day. The result is poverty, neglect, and enormous unemployment. Up to 1969, the refugee camps were under the stringent military control of Lebanon. According to the descriptions of Martha Gellhorn, most of the refugees were in a reasonable situation. Many even improved their standard of living compared with the days before the “nakba.” But in 1969, the Cairo Agreement was signed, which transferred control of the camps to the refugees themselves. The situation only grew worse. Terrorist organizations took control of the camps, which turned them into arenas of conflict – mostly violent – among the various groups.

A new study that was published in December 2010 presents data that makes the Gaza Strip look like paradise compared with Lebanon. Indeed, there was some scant publicity about it here and there, but as far as we know, there was no worldwide protest, not even a Turkish or international flotilla.

In contrast to Syria and Jordan, in which most of those defined as refugees are no longer in refugee camps, two thirds of the Palestinians in Lebanon live in camps, which are “enclaves outside the control of the state.” The most stunning data is that, despite the fact that about 425,000 refugees are registered with UNRWA, the study found that only between 260,000 and 280,000 Palestinians live in Lebanon. The paradox is that UNRWA is receiving financing for more than 150,000 people who are not even in Lebanon. This figure alone should have led to a serious inquest by the financing countries (primarily the US and Europe), but there is no chance that that will happen. The issue of the refugees is fraught with so many errors and lies that one more lie doesn’t really change anything. And so UNRWA can demand a budget for 425,000 people from the international community, while its website has a link to the study that shows that it’s all a fiction.

According to the study, the refugees are suffering from 56% unemployment. That seems to be the highest figure, not just among the Palestinians, but in the entire Arab world. Even those who are working are at the bottom of the employment ladder. Only 6% of those in the workforce have some kind of academic degree (compared with 20% of the workforce in Lebanon). The result is that 66% of the Palestinians in Lebanon live below the poverty line, which was set at six dollars per day per person. That is double the number of the Lebanese.

This dismal state of affairs is a result of apartheid to all intents and purposes. A series of Lebanese laws restrict the right to citizenship, to property, and to employment in the fields of law, medicine, pharmaceutics, journalism, etc. In August 2010 there was a limited amendment to the labor law but the amendment did not actually lead to any real change. Another directive prohibits the entry of building materials into refugee camps, and there are reports of arrests and the demolition of houses resulting from construction in the refugee camps. The partial and limited prohibition imposed by Israel on bringing building materials into the Gaza Strip stemmed from the firing of rockets at population centers. As far as we know, no prohibition was imposed in Lebanon due to a similar firing of rockets at population centers. And despite that, again, beyond the dry reports of human rights organizations, as part of the outlook that “they are permitted to do as they please,” no serious protest was recorded and no “apartheid week” was held against Lebanon.

Kuwait:

In 1991, the Palestinians constituted 30% of the country’s population. Relative to other Arab countries, their situation there was reasonable. Then Saddam Hussein invaded Iraq. As part of the attempts at compromise that proceeded to first Gulf War, Saddam made a “proposal” to retreat from Kuwait in exchange for Israel’s retreat from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The PLO, headed by Yasir Arafat, supported Saddam’s proposal. That support was the opening salvo in one of the worst events in Palestinian history. After Kuwait was liberated from the Iraqi conquests, and anti-Palestinian campaign commenced, which included persecution, arrests and show trials. The terrible saga ended in the expulsion of 450,000 Palestinians. Incidentally, some of them had settled there back in the 1930s, and most of them had no connection to Arafat’s support for Saddam. Nevertheless, they were subject to collective punishment, a transferor of proportions similar to the original nakba in 1948, which barely earned any mention in the world media. There are endless academic publications on the expulsion and flight in 1948. There are close to zero studies on the “nakba” of 1991.

* * *

These are the main countries in which the refugees are located. Apartheid is also rampant in other countries. In Saudi Arabia, the refugees from mandatory Palestine have not received citizenship. In 2004, Saudi Arabia announced some changes but clarified that the changes do not include the Palestinians. Jordan also prevents 150,000 refugees, most of them originally from the Gaza Strip, from receiving citizenship now. In Iraq, the refugees were actually given preference under the leadership of Saddam Hussein, but since he fell from power they have become one of the most persecuted groups. Twice, both on the Libyan-Egyptian border and on the Syria,-Iraqi border, thousands of expelled Palestinians lived in temporary camps and not a single Arab state agreed to take them. That was a formidable show of “Arab solidarity,” in making the “Arab nation.” And it continues. Palestinians from Libya, refugees from the civil war, are now arriving at the border of Egypt, which refuses to grant them entry.

Time after time the Arab countries have rejected proposals to resettle the refugees, despite the fact that there was room and there was a need. The march continues. In 1995, the ruler of Libya, Muammar Gaddafi, decided to expel 30,000 Palestinians, just because he was angry about the Oslo accords, about the PLO, and about the establishment of the Palestinian Authority. A Palestinian doctor, Dr. Ashraf al-Hazouz, spent 8 years in a Libyan prison (together with Bulgarian nurses), on false charges of spreading AIDS. In August 2010, before the present uprising, Libya passed laws that made the lives of the Palestinians impossible. It was precisely at the time when Libya dispatched a “humanitarian aid ship” to the Gaza Strip. There is no limit to hypocrisy.

The following is a summary of the apartheid against minorities in the Arab world in general, and against the Palestinians in particular. But there is a difference. While the Copts in Egypt or the Kurds in Syria are, indeed, minorities, the Arabs from mandatory Palestine were supposed to be an integral part of the Arab nation. Two of the symbols of the Palestinian struggle were born in Egypt – Edward Said and Yasir Arafat. Both of them tried to fabricate their birthplace as Palestine. Two other prominent symbols of the struggle by the Arabs of mandatory Palestine are Fawzi al-Qawuqji (who competed with the mufti to lead the Arab struggle against the British) and Izz al-Din al-Qassam – the former Lebanese and the latter Syrian. There is nothing strange about this, because the struggle was Arab, not Palestinian. And despite that, the Arabs of mandatory Palestine became the most downtrodden and spurned group of all, following the Arab defeat in 1948. The vast majority of the descriptions from those years talks about Arabs, not about Palestinians. Later, only later, did they become Palestinians.

The Arab countries are well aware that their treatment of the refugees from mandatory Palestine was no less than scandalous. To that end, they signed the “Casablanca Protocol” in 1965, which was supposed to grant the Palestinians the right of employment and movement, but not citizenship. To have it almost within their grasp. But like other documents of that type, this one did not change a thing. The abuse continued.

At the comparative level, it seems that the Palestinian group that underwent the most significant growth is the one that is under Israeli sovereignty – both the Israeli Arabs who received Israeli citizenship, whose situation is far better, and the Arabs of the territories. Despite the harsh living conditions in Lebanon and Syria, and before that also in Egypt and the Gaza Strip, the Palestinians under Israeli rule, beginning in 1967, have enjoyed a steady rise in their standard of living, in employment, in health services, in life expectancy, in the dramatic drop in infant mortality, and in the enormous growth of higher education.

For example, in all the territories captured by Israel in 1967, there was not one institution of higher education. In the 1970s, academic institutions began to sprout one after the other, and today there are at least 16 institutions of higher education. The growth in the number of students has continued for three decades, including during the years of the Intifada in the last decade. Within six decades the Palestinians – only those under Israeli rule – have become the most educated group in the Arab world.

The same is true in the political arena. After decades of political oppression, it was only under Israeli rule that the Palestinian national consciousness sprang up. For two decades after the War of Independence, the Arabs could have established a Palestinian state in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. They did not do so – until Israel arrived and released them from the oppression of two decades. That didn’t make the occupation desirable. It doesn’t mean that there weren’t injustices and dispossessions. There were. But it seems that after the first two decades following the “nakba,” it was actually the era of Israeli rule that caused the enormous flourishing growth in every field. We should, and we must, criticize the negative aspects of the occupation. But we should, and we must, also remember the aspect that is ignored.

In the past decades, the lie has arisen again and again about Israel’s responsibility for the distress of the Palestinians, so it is advisable to set matters straight. The Palestinians went through a terrible experience of uprooting and expulsion. Most of them fled. Some of them were expelled. But, again, that type of occurrence was experienced by tens of millions of others. The difference lies in the fact that all the other tens of millions were absorbed by the countries to which they went. That has not been the case with the Palestinians. They have gone through ordeals of oppression, abuse, and denial of rights. That was the work of the Arab countries, which decided to perpetuate the situation. Many proposals to resolve the problem of the Palestinians and resettle them have been rejected again and again. The open wound has festered. Time after time the Arabs themselves have claimed that the Arabs are one nation. The borders between the countries, and of this there is no dispute, are a fiction of the colonial government. After all, there is no difference, either ethnic, or religious, or cultural, or national, between the Arabs of Jaffa and Gaza and the Arabs of El Arish and Port Said, or between the Arabs of Safed and Tiberias and the Arabs of Syria and Lebanon. Despite that, the Arab refugees have become the forced victims of the Arab world. The “right of return,” which is primarily a propaganda invention, has become the ultimate demand. Behind this demand was hidden, and still hides, one single intention: the annihilation of the State of Israel. The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Muhammad Salah al-Din, said back in 1949 that the “demand for the right of return was actually intended to achieve the purpose of annihilating Israel.” That was also the case at a conference of refugees that was held in 1957 in Homs in Syria, where it was declared that “Any discussion of the refugee issue that does not promise the right to the annihilation of Israel will be deemed a desecration of the Arab nation and treason.” There is no confusion here between the “right of return” and the “right of annihilation.” It is the same “right.” Identical words about return, whose purpose is the annihilation of Israel, were stated in 1988 by Sacher Habash, Yasir Arafat’s adviser. So, too, in our day, is the BDS campaign, whose platform supports the “right of return,” and whose leaders, such as Omar Barghouti, explained that the real objective is the annihilation of Israel.

Already back in 1952, Alexander Galloway, a senior official in UNRWA, stated that “The Arab countries do not want to resolve the problem of the refugees. They want to leave them like an open wound, as a weapon against Israel. The Arab rulers don’t care at all if the refugees live or die.” The Palestinian – and usually also the academic – historiography mimics a series of expressions of that type, just as it mimics the absorption of tens of millions of refugees in other places, and as it mimics the “Jewish nakba,” the story of the dispossession and expulsion of Jews from Arab countries, and as it mimics the story of the Arab apartheid. But the truth must be told. Indeed, there was a nakba, but it is a nakba that is recorded primarily in the name of the Arab apartheid.

Kurds (also) oppressed by racist Arab apartheid in Syria

April 1, 2011

Kurds under racist apartheid Syrian Arab Republic

..Like Gaddafi today, seven years ago Assad deployed his air force against the Kurds.

Scores were killed and thousands were arrested. Many of those arrested were tortured by Assad’s forces.

The discrimination that Kurds have faced under Assad and his father is appalling. Since the 1970s, more than 300,000 Kurds have been stripped of their Syrian citizenship. They have been forcibly ejected from their homes and villages in the north and resettled in squalid refugee camps in the south. The expressed purpose of these racist policies has been to prevent territorial contiguity between Syrian, Iraqi and Turkish Kurds and to “Arabize” Syrian Kurdistan where most of Syria’s oil deposits are located.

The Kurds make up around 10 percent of Syria’s population. They oppose not only the Baathist regime, but also the Muslim Brotherhood. Represented in exile by the Kurdistan National Assembly of Syria, since 2004 they have sought the overthrow of the Assad regime and its replacement by democratic, decentralized federal government. Decentralizing authority, they believe, is the best way to check tyranny of both the Baathist and the Muslim Brotherhood variety. The Kurdish demand for a federal government has been endorsed by the Sunni-led exile Syrian Reform Party.

This week the KNA released a statement to the world community. Speaking for Syria’s Kurds and for their Arab, Druse, Alevi and Christian allies in Syria, it asked for the “US, France, UK and international organizations to seek [a] UN resolution condemning [the] Syrian regime for using violence against [the Syrian] people.”

The KNA’s statement requested that the US and its allies “ask for UN-sponsored committees to investigate the recent violence in Syria, including the violence used against the Kurds in 2004.”

What is Mr Blair’s Mission? KurdishMedia.com – By Dr Kamal Mirawdeli 01/11/2001 00:00:00 …
It seems that Mr Blair has not even known or even discreetly mentioned to his hosts that Syria is occupying a part of Kurdistan in which one million Kurds are living who are subject to the most appalling racist apartheid policies of oppression and assimilation. 150,000 of them are even deprived of having passports, being considered as ‘foreigners’ with no right, legally, to enter into employment or marriage. Syria does not allow the Kurds or to call their children Kurdish names.

Syria does not allow the Kurds to use their language for education and promote their art and culture, or to have their own legal political organisations. That is despite the fact that the Kurds are Muslims! But being Muslim for Arab racist regimes that use Islam as an Arabising racist ideology, is equivalent to being an Arab – full stop.
